Trinidad and Tobago is calling on its Caribbean Community (CARICOM) member states to fulfil their obligations and make the necessary payments to the CARICOM Implementation Agency for Crime and Security (IMPACS).
The regional leaders met in retreat and caucus on Thursday and Prime Minister Kamla Persad Bissessar, who has lead responsibility for security within the quasi-CARICOM cabinet, said prior to her departure from the ongoing CARICOM summit here on Thursday night, that Caribbean countries needed to pay their dues for the up-keep of the Trinidad-based agency.
Comment
Why should any one pay when St Lucia was in need of help you said T & T would only help if all the worker are trini get paid so the money spent would go right back to Trinidad. It wasn't until the Jamaica Prime Minister threaten to Boycott and took all your produces of the shelf and instruct every other Island to do the same. That woman "Kamla Persad Bissessar needs to go and replace by a Trinidad Citizen.
Prime Minister Kamla Persad Bissessar is the wrong person to lead anything.
Why does the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) members always have to be reminded, especially to have to plead to pay up and fulfill their obligations all the time?? I believe if any of the country or countries are having issues or faced with unforeseen problems; they need to bring it to the attention of their regional leader(s) in order to appropriately discuss and resolve the issues. The spirit of the TEAM efforts need to ring bells in those leaders ears all the time. The security of all these countries is every bodies RESPONSIBILITY.
