Kanye West & Taylor Swift To Hit The Studio Together

Kanye West recently talked with Ryan Seacrest about the Grammy Awardscontroversy where he walked onstage during Beck's acceptance speech, intending the moment to be a joke, respecting Beck as an artist, wanting to erase racism, collaborating with Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Paul McCartney, Beyonce, Yeezy Boost sneakers and more.

Rock star Shirley Manson blasts Kanye West in open letter over Grammys rant against Beck. Is SHE Right?

Different times.. Kanye West and Taylor Swift are about to collab!

After the 2009 MTV Awards incident, the two let bygones be bygones and are now getting in the studio together. In his new interview with Ryan Seacrest, Kanye broke the news.

"Any artist with an amazing point of view, perspective, fan base, I'm down to get in the studio and work," Kanye explained. "I don’t discriminate."

He also talked about the following [transcript via HHNM]

On Beck: Beck is one of the nicest guys and one of the most respected musicians in the game. When I said that thing about respect artistry, I think it came off the wrong way and that was a mis-wording on my part. Obviously Beck is one of the most respected artists, and respects artistry.

On his attempt to interrupt Beck at the GRAMMYs:

The voices in my head told me to go up. I don’t feel like I have the right to take away from people’s moments.

On The GRAMMYs not treating Black music well:

The Grammys are artists’ Super Bowl, and somebody’s gotta be mad that Marshawn didn’t get the ball. It’s not a black or white thing at all. Racism is a distraction to humanity – we are one race. We are the human race. Period.

On Rihanna’s ‘FourFiveSeconds’:

I sang FourFiveSeconds and Paul said it was great. Rihanna heard it and was not gonna be satisfied until she had this record.

On Yeezy Boost release with a fashion show:

We’re gonna show the fashion line 10 times and stream the show to 40 locations around the world. Just be patient. Everybody who wants to get Yeezys, will get Yeezys.

Shirley Manson penned an open letter to Kanye West on Monday criticising the singer for his televised rant against Beck at the Grammy Awards.

The 48-year-old Garbage singer took to Twitter to defend Beck after Kanye, 37, said he should give his award for Album Of The Year to fellow nominee Beyonce.

'Dear Kanye West,' Shirley wrote at the start of her posting.

'It is YOU who is so busy disrespecting artistry. You disrespect your own remarkable talents and more importantly you disrespect the talent, hard work, and tenacity of all artists when you go so rudely and savagely after such an accomplished and humble artist like BECK,' she wrote.

'You make yourself look small and petty and spoilt. In attempting to reduce the importance of one great talent over another, you make a mockery of all musicians and music from every genre, including your own,' she continued.

'Grow up and stop throwing your toys around. You are making yourself look like a complete twat,' her post continued.

Kanye raised eyebrows when he took to the stage on Sunday night when 44-year-old Beck was named winner of Album of the Year for his work Morning Phase.

The husband of reality star Kim Kardashian soon retreated from the stage unlike in 2009 when he stormed after Taylor Swift after her win at the MTV Video Music Awards.

Kanye returned to his seat this time but let his true feelings fly while being interviewed by Khloe Kardashian on the E! network after the show.

'We ain't gonna play with them no more,' Kanye said during his instant commentary of the Grammys.

'Beck needs to respect artistry and he should have given his award to Beyoncé,' he continued as wife Kim Kardashian looked on.

He continued: 'At this point - we're tired of it because what happens is, you keep on diminishing art and not respecting the craft and smacking people in the face after they deliver monumental music. You are disrespectful to inspiration.'

Beck meanwhile took the high road and told reporters afterward that he agreed with Kanye and also thought Beyonce should win

Asked if there was any hard feelings about Kanye's attack, he said: 'You can't please everybody. I still love him and think he's genius.'

'I aspire to what he does. How many great records has he put out in the last five years right?' Beck said.

Taylor, 25, has since made up with Kanye and was pictured with him chatting at the Grammys.

Kanye

What's an award show without some Kanye West drama? The G.O.O.D. Music CEO nearly pulled a stunt similar to 2009 when he infamously stormed the stage at the MTV Video Music Awards and snatched Taylor Swift's mic to rant that Beyonce should have won the Best Female Video award instead of Swift.

At the 57th Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 8, Kanye was at it again. As Beckstood onstage to accept the award for Morning Phase winning Album of the Year, Yeezy got out of his seat, walked up to the stage and for a moment looked like he was going to grab the mic. Instead, he headed back to his seat without saying a word.

Beck, Album of the Year, Grammys, Winner

Watch Jay Z's reaction below.

Kanye wasn't nearly finished though. During E!’s Grammy after-show he vented about Beck winning over Beyonce's self-titled album.

“Beck needs to respect artistry and he should have given his award to Beyoncé,” he said, adding: “Y’all know what it meant when ‘Ye walked on the stage.”

Watch Kanye's full diatribe below.

'And by the way who designs these mics? Alright it's E! We know!' he said, taking issue with the fact that four presenters were all holding mics with E! branding on them.

'We have to step up the taste levels at these networks,' he said before ordering all four presenters to remove the E! logos from their mics.

He seemed to throw further shade at the networks as he talked about the important of beauty.

'It's unpredictable,' he said.

'You don't know what's going to happen. That turned out to be a fun moment at the end of the day.'

The drama certainly overshadowed British singer Sam Smith, who won four awards on the night.

Sam also took home the first award at the event on Sunday evening, handed to him by Taylor Swift.

Publicity stunt, yesss!!  His wife constantly exploits herself so the media and the public can continue to talk about her.  If she didn't exploit herself, people wouldn't talk about her.  This is her way of keeping herself in the limelight.  She admitted if their daughter want to exploit her body when she grows up, she will support her.  What does that tell you about her state of mind?

Tall island girl he's performing in ny today or tomorrow the the nba all star kickoff. Yeah he wanted to be the talk of the town to people can come out to support him. Now it starting to make sense why he is allowing his wife to exploit herself like this so people can show up to their functions.

I think that both times he was right about what he said, but he did it in a very dispextful way.  I'm sure a lot of people wish they had the guts to say what he did. He is entitled to his own opinions!

I woner how long that THOT is going to stay married to kanye. You could tell by her reaction that she didn't know what she signed up for when she married thirsty Kanye. But i guess she'll stay until she could get half his money and huge child support check.
