@Still Waters; If you took an American family, and put them on Mars - and they have child.....does that make them Martians?
I don't think so either. Africans are Africans no matter where you find them, so why can't we be African?

That's a lie

Still waters Alasia Alasia you too fail to realize her beliefs are cultural and unfortunately while you're too busy running your mouths you fail to realize you have lost your culture---as many of your grandmothers etc thought and felt the same but you think and act like white women with their feminist agenda, thinking it's going to benefit you when in fact ll you are , are being used for their own selfish means. Problem is, today, women like you want to be the men in the relationship and forget what it is to revel in your womanhood and be secure in your own womanhood----NOW GO AHEAD AND ATTACK ME LIKE THE MEN YOU WANT TO BE AND I'LL TREAT YOU IN KIND

I disagree with "still waters", based on their liberally frequent usage of the word "we". I wasn't taught to hate African people. My peers got disciplined for making fun of anybody. So "still waters" must be clear about the "we" you're talking about. You're not representing the history nearly close enough to be recognized as black. Catfish.

No we can never consider it because we are no longer African. We are black American. African Americans are those who immigrate here and apply for visa and citizenship. We are now at a point and time where we can and need to create a new heritage, culture, and tradition. We are too far gone but we can build something new and better than before if we first weed out the corrupt and unjust and something nobody talks about is genetics. When we were slaves we were bred like cattle or dogs. There was a lot of mothers forced to sleep with sons and fathers with daughters. Forced incest. We need that it brings fourth deformities and other mental issues and that is something else we need to weed out because you can't build with mentally unstable people. Next is to get rid of those who don't care and those who want to make a quick buck with no regard as to who gets hurt in the path. Also we need to get rid of the victim and owe me mentality as well. It is a very tedious and painstaking thing to do but unless it's done things won't change for us at all. Too many forces are against us and the key to it all is in the hands of the women. I say this because men will mostly do what pleases a woman or attracts them. If the women said they want educated brothers that are well off and no thugs or jail birds guess what? There would be more doctors and lawyers and people in society that are black to make a change and ween us off of white establishment dependency. Next is for the men. Stop putting your penis in a blender. Sleeping with many women does not make you a man. Stand up for something and hold on to principles and values. Think with the big head and not the little one. Learn to manage your finances and be self sufficient. Stop letting peer pressure force you to being something you are not. Be an individual and free thinker. Not a follower. And together all question everything and stop looking to take the easy route or a faster way of doing things.

Most of her traditions wère practiced years ago by african americans. sometimes people need to study southern black culture before they assume we have no tradtions or culture or rather we never stood for nothing like the" white supremacist" teaching all over the world tells them.. todays generation does not represent. True african american culture...Remember we were stripped of everything.. our origin began in Africa.... Think......would you consider your generation a true representation of african culture..

Roflmao at these comments. But truth be told per capita in this country Africans are at the top in family, finances, and education. You can say she is talking too much but they are winning and we are not. They are excelling and we are back tracking. Why? Tradition, morals, roots, pride, and family. We here in this country lack most of this and run wild and free without thought of lifelong goals and leaving a legacy. We have also been taught to hate Africans or look down on them. I recall in elementary school hearing kids call each other African booty scratcher or pick on a girls hair and skin and say she looks like she from Africa. This just shows the brainwashing we had since we have been disconnected from our land, people, heritage, and culture. We now value European thinking, fashion, looks, and ways which make us forever be divided amongst our kin and also each other.

It's "Never too much ", when its truth coming from the heart at least for and to me.
I can fall in love with a baby or adolescent, but there isn't a sexual attraction. If you can call a wet kiss on the cheek making love, then it's consomated because its the best I can do. Otherwise, she gonna wait and mature.
