10 Black Women Kicked Off Of Train, Met By Police, After White Woman Complains They Were Laughing

A group of black women were escorted off of a train taking them on a wine tour after a white woman complained they were laughing loudly. After the women, who are all members of a book club, exited the train they were met by a group of police officers.

No charges were filed.

According to a Facebook posting by Lisa Renee Johnson, one of the women in the group, the trouble started when this woman approached them and said she was annoyed by their laughter.

We sipped wine, enjoyed each other's company but our trip is being cut short...this women said our laughter annoyed her because this is "not a bar"... We are a group of 12...if we all laugh at the same time it's loud! When we get to St. Helena they are putting us off the train

The complaint that this is “not a bar” is perplexing considering the primary purpose of the train is to serve alcohol.

A maître d’ also told them they were making too much noise. Asked who was complaining, he said that “people’s faces are uncomfortable.”

Johnson said the group of women — 10 black and one white — were then paraded through all six cars and escorted off the train where police were waiting for them.

The Napa Valley Wine Train posted a message to their Facebook page accusing the women of “verbal and physical abuse toward other guests and staff.” The post was quickly deleted, but not before Johnson captured a screenshot.

The group received a full refund but Johnson also wants an apology. “It was humiliating. I’m really offended to be quite honest. I felt like it was a racist attack on us. I feel like we were being singled out,” Johnson told the San Francisco Chronicle.

Word of the incident spread of social media under the hashtag #laughingwhileblack.

In a statement, Napa Valley Wine Train said the women were kicked off after the company “received complaints from several parties” about the noise. The company is also “conducting an internal audit to make sure all of our policies were followed.”

Do you think your words are uplifting, supportive, or true wisdom? You are being small minded and hating others who dare to live. In fact, I can find 2 black people who have actually done something to try and bring me down, for every white person, who would like the opportunity to try. I can even locate one white person who has done something to support me, for every black person who has wished me ill... Asians, Jews, American Indians, all have something that makes them unstoppable even in the face of racist hate, it is called UNITY. Based on your "you blacks" judgemental, and unwise comments, I am guessing you are not black, or don't understand the concept of "divide and conquer".

The only solution is to stay away stop trying to congregate, stop trying to integrate, keep company with your own kind,stop attending their functions, most of the times they don't want us amongst them so thats why they do what they do.

If you have any more info about the struggles of black people please continue to post them up, the only time our education should stop is when one is 6 feet under.

It was a case of who do you think you niggers are ? It was just done to me and family quietly eating in a restaurant full of them, when they had a loud outburst and quote " Did they just come ? When are they leaving" thats what was said to a waiter loudly as if to shame us. My family was angry but i kept my cool and wanted to stay even more and did so. Its time for them to fall from power because they are just tripping all over the place with no luggage. Dam ignorant asses and disrespectful too. Then another one got started and approached us and i dismissed her dumb ass, lucky for her im not a thug but a dignified brother.
