Reports are that a massive earthquake measuring magnitude 6.8 hit central Morocco on Friday night minutes after 11 PM leaving hundreds dead with the death toll expected to increase in coming days.
Most of the deaths were reported in the province of Al Haouz and also south of the Marrakech province. Many victims are said to be In isolated areas and will take some time to get to.
So far, many countries including the USA, India and the UK have pledged to help the devastated country.
As per reports, the death toll is expected to surpass 1000 very soon.
