BREAKING! Dr. Dre Hospitalized with Brain Aneurysm – in Intensive Care Unit
We’ve been wondering how long it would take before Dr. Dre’s estranged wife spoke out about being abused by the music mogul.
While Dre remains hospitalized after suffering a brain aneurysm, Nicole Young has come forward with allegations of physical and emotional abuse against her ex.
Young details the abuse in a legal filing submitted to Los Angeles County Superior Court on Dec. 29, amid their ongoing divorce proceedings. In the docs, she claims Dre held a gun to her head twice during their marriage.
Young filed for divorce last summer after 24 years of marriage, citing “irreconcilable differences.” They have since since been hashing out the financial terms of their separation. Most recently, Dr. Dre agreed to pay Nicole $2 million in spousal support to “pay for living expenses for the next few months.”
In the divorce documents, Nicole alleges Dre has punched her in the face numerous times.
“Andre held a gun to my head on two occasions, on January 8, 2000 and November 20 2001,” she explains in the documents. “Andre has punched me in the head/face on two occasions, in 1999 and on January 8, 2000.”
She also alleges, “Andre kicked down the door to a bedroom in which I was hiding from his rage in 2016. Andre has verbally and emotionally decimated my personhood to the extent that I currently suffer from post-traumatic stress syndrome.”
Young admits she never called the police on her abusive ex because “my fear of Andre outweighed any confidence I had that the police could help me.”
Despite allegedly hooking up with Dre while he was still dating and reportedly beating on his ex, singer Michel’le, Young wants you to know… “I have explained in excruciating and painful detail the abuse that Andre has perpetrated against me over our more than 25 year-relationship.”
Too bad she didn’t listen to journalist Dee Barnes, who accused the rapper of brutally beating her in a Los Angeles nightclub in 1991. Dre has since claimed he’s remorseful about his abusive past toward women.
New Twist! Dr. Dre’s Wife Trying to Force His 3 Mistresses to Testify in Bitter Divorce Case Dr. Dre is at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after suffering a brain aneurysm …
Sources connected to Dre and with direct knowledge tell us, Dre suffered the aneurysm Monday and was rushed by ambulance to Cedars and was taken directly to ICU, where he remains Tuesday.
Our sources say the 55-year-old music mogul is stable and lucid, but doctors don’t know what caused the bleeding and they are doing a battery of tests.
As you know, Dre is in the middle of a very contentious divorce with his estranged wife Nicole. As we reported, Nicole wants $2 million a month in temporary spousal support and $5 million for attorney fees, but Dre says he’s been paying all of her expenses so the $2 mil demand was outlandish. He also says the attorney’s fees are outrageous since her lawyers have only been working on the case for a few months.
And, as we reported, Nicole wants a judge to reject the prenuptial agreement she signed in 1996, claiming Dre ripped it up early on in the marriage. Dre strongly denies that.
There’s a hearing Wednesday in downtown L.A. on both issues. Obviously, Dre will not be attending and we’re assuming the judge will continue the matter.
Dr. Dre Wins Legal Battle in Divorce, Judge Denies Estranged Wife’s Request for 1.5Mill
In the latest twist in Dr. Dre‘s nasty divorce, his estranged wife Nicole Young is now trying to subpoena three women: singer Jillian Speer, model turned skincare entrepreneur Kili Anderson and Crystal Rogers, the ‘Queen of Latin hip-hop,” according to an exclusive report by the Daily Mail.
They have all been named in the latest court filing in the bitter divorce. Nicole, 50, claims they are all former lovers of the music mogul, and she’s reportedly trying to get them to spill on her soon-to-be-ex-husband.
However, all three are fighting Nicole’s legal efforts to subpoena them as witnesses in the legal war with Dre after 24 years of marriage. As it was previously reported, the couple’s nasty fight over Dre’s estimated $1billion empire centers on a pre-marital agreement they both signed in back in 1996.
The ladies have all hired lawyer Kris LeFan to fight for them. He filed a motion on Tuesday to quash the subpoenas, saying none of the women has “information relevant to the enforceability” of the pre-marital agreement.
Dr. Dre's estranged wife Nicole Young claims she co-owns the trademark to his name and accuses him of domestic abuse and hiding assets in explosive lawsuit
Dr. Dre has emerged victorious in a legal battle with estranged wife, Nicole Young.
A judge has denied Young’s request for $1.5 million a month to pay for various expenses, including security, as her attorneys claim she’s been receiving death threats.
The judge also dismissed her request that Dre pay out $5 million for her lawyer’s fees, TMZ reports.
Here’s more from Complex:
Part of the reason why the judge rejected her request is because she let her security team go, which Dre was already paying for. She alleged that Dre has been controlling and wanted to bring on her own security, saying Dre warned her that he would fire her security if they didn’t do what he said. Dre’s lawyer told the judge that the hip-hop mogul is inclined to pay Young’s expenses, including security, which the judge accepted. Young’s lawyers also urged the judge to advance the hearing regarding the $5 million for attorney’s fees, wanting it moved from January to this month. However, the judge said no.
The judge also noted that if Dre was trying to control Young, then she could file a restraining order against him.
We previously reported, Young had filed a nearly $2 million a month temporary spousal support request. It’s unclear if that’s the same claim as her $1.5 million request for security.
This week, Dre responded to the claim, saying, “This all seems like the wrath of an angry person being exacerbated by opportunistic lawyers.”
Meanwhile, TMZ reported on Tuesday that Dr. Dre already supports Young’s lavish lifestyle, and he refuses to pay a penny extra. According to legal documents, he allows “Young to stay in his Malibu mansion which reportedly costs around $25 million. He also covers her various expenses, noting that their business manager pays her AmEx Centurion Black Card bills,” the outlet writes.
Dre also noted that he has paid $5 million in lawyer fees for Young, who filed for divorce two month ago — citing irreconcilable differences.
Most recently, she reportedly took almost $400,000 from Dre’s record company’s business account.
Dr. Dre’s wife Nicole Young explains 2Million per month divorce request
Dr. Dre's estranged wife, Nicole Young, claims she co-owns the trademark to his name in explosive court documents.
In her lawsuit, Young, 50, alleges that the 55-year-old Beats by Dr. Dre mogul (born Andre Young) 'secretly' transferred 'valuable trademarks' to a 'newly created asset' holding company, including his 1992 debut album, The Chronic.
Young's team reported that Dre's transfer of property, which 'he owned with' the mother of his two children, occurred without her 'knowledge or consent.'

Then, she alleges he 'threatened to file divorce.'
'Two days after the threat, Nicole had no choice and initiated divorce proceedings. Andre's transparent and reprehensible scheme to transfer these assets away, without Nicole's knowledge or consent, so he could retain more for himself in a divorce from his wife of 24 years, and the mother of his three children, is an epic failure and reveals the true nature of his character, or lack thereof,' according to papers obtained by Page Six.
The latest suit furthers that the 'valuable trademarks' were filed during Andre's years married to Nicole, which coincided with Andre's years of rising success in the music industry.'
At odds: The pair, who are reportedly at odds over a prenuptial agreement, share two children - son Truice Young, 23 and daughter Truly Young, 19 (pictured in 2016)
This would make the trademarks 'community property pursuant to California Family Code Section 760.'
Meanwhile, sources close to Dre, say the allegations are 'ridiculous' and an 'attempt to embarrass him into submission,' according to TMZ.
The insider added: 'It's the act of a desperate woman who finally realized that the iron-clad prenup she signed doesn't win her the lottery.'
In addition to accusing him of hiding assets, the outlet revealed she is claiming to be the 'victim of physical, emotional and financial abuse' during their relationship.
Better times: Young, who was previously wed to NBA player Sedale Threatt, said she initially signed one before their May 25, 1996 wedding, but Dr. Dre later destroyed it during the better times in the marriage two years later
'In their 26 years together, there has never been any hint or claim of threatened or actual physical violence and the insinuation is an insult to actual victims of domestic abuse,' the insider claims.
Young filed for divorce from The Next Episode artist earlier this summer after 24 years of marriage.
The pair, who are reportedly at odds over a prenuptial agreement, share two children - son Truice Young, 23 and daughter Truly Young, 19.
Court battle: Earlier this month, she submitted a justification for her request for a stunning $2 million per month in her divorce proceedings
Young, who was previously wed to NBA player Sedale Threatt, said she initially signed one before their May 25, 1996 wedding, but Dr. Dre later destroyed it during the better times in the marriage two years later.
Earlier this month, she submitted a justification for her request for a stunning $2 million per month in her divorce proceedings.
According to the filings, the vast majority of her expenses are listed as 'Entertainment,' and she's seeking $900,000 per month to cover those costs.
Young also says she needs $10,000 per month to keep the house clean and to get her laundry done, and she needs another $135,000 to pay for new clothes each month.
She including $60,000 monthly for education costs, including tuition and living expenses, though she didn't specify if that was for her own education efforts or if it was to pay for either her son Truice, 23, or daughter Truly Young, 19.
Justifying he request: Young also says she needs $10,000 per month to keep the house clean and to get her laundry done, and she needs another $135,000 to pay for new clothes each month
Dre's soon-to-be ex is also looking to keeping her charitable donations in place with $125,000 each month.
She's also on the hook for a $100,000 per month mortgage, and she says she needs a head-scratching $20,000 each month to pay for her telephone, cell phone and email use.
Although all her individual expenses weren't listed, her total monthly expenses came out to $2,530,000, so her request for $1,936,399 is actually more modest than what she had been spending.
As of now, Dre is covering all of her expenses.
In the filings, Young contends that the NWA member has been cutting off her allowance and has prevented her from using her American Express Black Card.
Accusations: Young claimed Dre sending his brother-in-law to pick up his Glock at her house, and wrote that he was violent during their marriage
Young claims that the marriage began to go sour on April 1, when the Chronic rapper became intoxicated at their home in their Los Angeles home and began shouting, 'F*** you. F*** you. Get the f*** out. Get the f*** out. Go to Malibu.'
Dre is allegedly so angry at the accounting of his finances going on due to the divorce proceedings that he's threatening 'war.'
Young described a chilling incident in the documents in which she became frightened of her husband after he sent his brother-in-law to the Malibu home where she was staying to pick up his Glock handgun.
She refused to give it up at the time and said that Dre had a 'history of violence and coercive control, both before and during the marriage,' though she doesn't specify any incidents of domestic violence.
Way back: Young also wants the Beats by Dre mogul, 55, to pay her $5 million in fees she's spent on their split, TMZ reported; seen in 2001
The rapper infamously assaulted fellow rapper and TV host Dee Barnes in 1991, and he has been accused of other instances of domestic abuse since then.
'Any man that puts his hands on a female is a f****** idiot,' he said of the incidents in his 2017 docuseries The Defiant Ones.
Young wrote that Dre sent her text messages that she found threatening after their separation, including one exchange that read, 'Why are you ignoring me? Why are you ignoring me ... should I come see you?'
Young also wants the Beats by Dre mogul, 55, to pay her $5 million in fees she's spent on their split, TMZ reported.
Dr. Dre‘s soon-to-be ex-wife, Nicole Young, explained why she needs nearly $2 million a month in temporary spousal support.
In a breakdown provided by TMZ Young’s expenses, which actually total more than $2.5 million per month, stem from her claim that Dr. Dre violently controlled everything she purchased.
As TMZ reported, the list of expenditures includes her clothing and entertainment expenses, which amount to over $1 million. Young also listed her phone and email expenses at $20,000 a month.
$900,000 for entertainment
$135,000 for new clothes
$10,000 for housekeeping and laundry services
$60,000 for tuition and living expenses
$125,000 on charitable contributions
$100,000 for the mortgage
$20,000 for telephone, cell phone, e-mail
Plus additional individual expenses amounting to $2,530,000
Dr. Dre was said to be paying for all of Young’s expenses, which includes the Malibu house she is currently living in.
According to Young’s documentation, Dr. Dre prevents her from using her American Express black card.
Her prenup is being described as a “gun-to-the-head” agreement. Young said that Dr. Dre eventually ripped the agreement, but he is denying ever doing so.
On April’s Fools Day, Young said Dr. Dre got intoxicated at their home in West Los Angeles and yelled at her to return back to Malibu.
“Do not spend one more cent … period. You can’t be mean and disrespectful and spend my hard-earned money. F*** that!!! Yes that’s a threat … I’m putting the beach house up for sale next week,” Dr. Dre allegedly told Young, according to TMZ.
In her divorce filing, Young said that she is also asking for $5 million to cover her attorney’s fees.
As CF previously reported, Dr. Dre has been accused of abusive behavior during his prior relationships. His former fiancée, Michel’le, alleged that he beat her during the course of their six-year relationship.
