According to Variety, Fisher, best known for his collaborations with Beyoncé and Lil Wayne, was arrested on Wednesday by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, after five felony assault charges and 15 sexual assault charges were filed against him.
He is reportedly being held on $6.3 million bail.
“Based on the nature of the allegations, Special Victims Bureau detectives believe there may be additional potential victims and they are seeking the public’s help in identifying any such victims,” the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.
Last year, a model and aspiring singer was awarded $15 million in her lawsuit against the Grammy-winning producer, after alleging he raped her in 2016 at his music studio.
As reported by the Associated Press, Kristina Buch detailed in her lawsuit how Fisher brought her to his studio on the promises that he could make her a music star. Instead, he physically and mentally abused her, tried to coerce her into having sex, and eventually raped her when she resisted.
Detail, who won a Grammy Award for Beyonce and Jay-Z’s “Drunk In Love” track, has also produced hits for Nicki Minaj and Wiz Khalifa.
A woman named Isabella Mack also took legal action against him, alleging he physically held her down and masturbated.
Several other women in the music industry have come forward with similar allegations against Detail, including Bebe Rexha, Tinashe, and Jessie Reyez, per Complex. Reyez said her song “Gatekeeper” was written about him.
“He tried to do the same thing to me when I was new artist. Glad these women came out. It’s scary,” said Rexha in a tweet last year. “He tried to get with me, but I literally ran out of that studio. Karma is a b****.” Tinashe added that her studio session with Detail is the only time she left early because she was uncomfortable, calling him a “fucking creep.”
