TODAY’S VIDEO‘I Did?’: Ex ‘Bachelorette’ Hannah Brown Apologizes for Saying N-Word After Expressing Shock (Watch)

Hannah Brown

Former “The Bachelorette” star Hannah Brown has apologized for saying the N-word on Instagram Live while rapping DaBaby’s song “Rockstar” on video.

The star of Season 15 first expressed shock at having used the word when called out by followers. Brown also appeared to blame her brother for saying the word, saying, “I don’t think — maybe I did. Maybe it was Patrick,” after another unseen person speaking off camera seemed to encourage her to blame her sibling.

Finally, on Sunday, Brown took to Instagram Stories with a written apology, writing, “I owe you all a major apology. There is no excuse, and I will not justify what I said.  I have read your messages and seen the hurt that I have caused. I own it all. I am terribly sorry and know that whether in public or private, this language is unacceptable. I promise to do better.”

Lets hope that works, otherwise there will be more problems to come in that community, you can start with this summer which one the people will have to fight, is it gun violence or covid-19? Now thats real problem if you ask me

What does teaching has to do with something you choose to do in the name of fun, is this how they talk at a job interview or share holders meeting, i never used that word in a business meeting, but i hear black lawyers, doctors and politicians use it when they see their friends or when they are around each other, i state the example in the previous comment, but lets take it further if we stop using that word will white people stop hating blacks or call you the N word, will white cops stop shooting black people, will the justice system stop enslaving black people? Unless the answers can be yes, just imagine if all those who feel the way you feel use that energy to fight against the injustice, but than again most people are good at repeating what white people tell them to, white people say well you people use it why cant we use it, and the negros repeat yes we use it why cant they use it? Sound silly to me now thats what we call slave mentality, white people will call you what ever they want like porch monkey

No excuse for anyone just facts people came along way from where it was and as long as the mindset is focused on everyone else’s mistakes or intensions of the misuse of any words we as a people continue to destroy great teachings of those from our past That should never be forgotten and BTW just because someone would use that term to describe any male or female shows lack of him or herself not knowing what the word really means it’s time for us to teach and move pass all the rhetoric and make a difference in everyone lives for the better .

And this is the problem in the community there are those who create excuses for white people to continue to hate in fact they defend and forgive white peoples action

So le me ask if you see your sister and you say hey come here b****, would you like someone to call her the same, if you spank your kids doe discipline would you like someone else to do the same? Lets be honest whether or not you dont like the use of the words especially old people we do know that many of us use it to greet each other to hug each other, just like we use the word dope as good which is a drug, or fly means it looks good you people accept those words it is the same thing, when a white person use the N***** word it is out if anger and hate, they use it to degrade a black person, not to hug you or love you, it is the total opposite, jews and hispanics has words that they use but i dont see other races use them against them, stop repeating after white people or give them a pass just because you use it dont give them the right to use it because we know what they mean when they do, stop defending white people

You see the problem is that most African Americans use this word in there everyday vocabulary and when someone of another ethnicity use it we have a problem with that bottom line take it out of your vocabulary and they will and if they don’t then we know whose the problem and not assume it .
