Pilot killed, co-pilot missing after plane crashes in Caribbean Sea

skyway The Dutch Caribbean Coast Guard is searching off St. Maarten for the co-pilot of a small US-based cargo plane that crashed into the sea on late Wednesday shortly after takeoff.

Authorities say they have recovered the body of one of the two pilots who were on board the Skyway Enterprises plane when it went down about three miles from shore.

Navy veteran dies after drinking cocaine laced drink imported from the Caribbean

pear-d-drink An inquest has been told that a Royal Navy veteran died after drinking a mouthful from a pear drink shipped from the Caribbean that contained cocaine in a concentration at least 20 times the lethal level.

Joromie Lewis, 33, originally from St. Vincent and the Grenadines, became ill after trying the drink which he spat out because of its bitter taste.

St Vincent, Brazil sign ‘visa free’ travel agreement
