
Former New York City Mayor David Dinkins has been hospitalized with pneumonia.
His law partner and adviser, Peter Johnson, says Dinkins is being treated at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.
Dinkins was the first black mayor of the nation's largest city. He served one term, from 1990 to 1993.
