What is your favorite type of lighted Christmas decoration from the past?

What is your favorite type of lighted Christmas decoration from the past? For me, I have to answer that question with nostalgic lights along with the trees, a nice angel or two, and of course the Christmas tree! What I love most about lighting up the Christmas tree, is that it gives the kids (and adults) in my family, the chance to make something for their parents to remember for many years to come. If you are looking for some ideas for what kind of lighted Christmas decoration you can get your hands on, you can start by finding out what the most popular decorations for the holidays are today.

Some of the most popular lighted decorations at this time of year, happen to be angel figurines. While they don't look as elegant as the traditional lighted snowman or Santa, they do make great gifts for Christmas. The angel you can get for Christmas can really help get your kids in the Christmas ornaments spirit. Many angel figurines are also decorated in a more "literal" way, with lit-up windows and even Christmas trees made out of them. This might be something that you would want to look into if you are looking to give someone a truly unique gift.

Another popular lighted ornament you might consider for your Christmas is a big Christmas tree with a "star" going up, or something similar. You can find these everywhere, at retail stores everywhere, and the internet as well. Whatever you end up getting as a Christmas ornament, whether it is a Christmas "star", "lighted" snowman, or whatever else, make sure you take the time to find one that really takes your breath away when you see it.
