Think you’ve been swindled? It is definitely one of the most confusing period for victims but it’s important to act fast so you will have a high chance of recovering your loss. Here are first few steps you should take;

Report to the appropriate law enforcement agency.
Try to get receipts as evidence to back up your claim.
Contact your bank, they may be able to help
Unfortunately because these con artists use fake identities, burner phones or stay in different countries which makes it hard for the aforementioned steps to work.
