Kitti Jones says R. Kelly physically and sexually abused her for years: Here’s what you need to know

Woman admits sex with R. Kelly at 16, claims he abused and spit on her Kitti Jones R. Kelly

Kitti Jones is done remaining silent about her experience dating R. Kelly.
Jones, a former radio DJ, tells Rolling Stone she was the victim of a truly horrifying combination of sexual and physical abuse at the hands of the R&B singer.
Jones tells the magazine she began dating Kelly in 2011 and eventually quit her job to move to his Chicago home.
Here’s what you need to know about Kelly’s alleged abuse:

He was shady from the start

Jones explained her first intimate encounter with Kelly came after he flew her out to his “getaway spot” in Denver, and he wasn’t shy about his peculiar proclivities.

“I’m thinking we’re going to hug or peck each other. But he plopped down on the couch and pulled out his penis and started pleasuring himself,” she said

“Maybe he just has weird ways of getting off.”

The two had oral sex that weekend, with Kelly, according to Jones, saying things like, “I gotta teach you how to be with me” and “I gotta train you.”

“He was like a drill sergeant even when he was pleasuring me,” Jones says. “He was telling me how to bend my back or move my leg here. I’m like, ‘Why is he directing it like this?’ It was very uncomfortable.”

He controlled her every move

Shortly after their relationship began, Jones says Kelly made it clear he was in control.

Almost instantly upon moving to Chicago, Jones says, Kelly began governing nearly every detail of her life, starting with the requirement that she wear baggy sweatpants whenever she went out and text near-constant updates on her whereabouts. Jones says she was forced to text either the singer or one of his employees for even the slightest request.

Unlike on earlier weekend visits, Jones says she now had to “stand up and greet daddy” every time he walked in the room.

His team knew the deal

Jones says she was forbidden from speaking to or even looking at the male members of Kelly’s inner circle, and they clearly knew not to address her in any way, not even flinching when she stumbled on some stairs.

“She had to always have her head down or if they were in a conference room and she was sitting next to Rob, he would have her turn facing him and she had to keep her head down the whole time. If a male would say something funny, she couldn’t laugh,” recounts her longtime friend, LaToya Howard.

The abuse was physical

The first time his abuse turned physical was after she questioned him about the infamous video that sent him to court in 2006.

As they drove home, Jones says she repeatedly apologized while Kelly kicked her multiple times and delivered a series of open-handed slaps to her face. “I was putting my hand over my face and telling him I was sorry,” Jones says. “He would start kicking me, telling me I was a stupid bi**h [and] don’t ever get in his business.”

The next day, Jones says, the couple went shopping, and neither spoke about the incident.

He forced group getdowns

The singer brought a woman in naked and told her to crawl toward Jones and perform oral sex on her. “He told me, ‘I raised her. I’ve trained this b****. This is my pet,'” she says.

“He videotapes everything that he does, and sometimes he’ll just make you watch what he’s done to other girls or girls that he had be together,” she adds. “He would masturbate to that and then have you give him oral sex while he’s watching what he did with somebody else on his iPad.”

In one particularly graphic example, Jones claims she witnessed Kelly urinating on two women while she and the women were in the middle of a sex act with the singer. “It was just a game for him,” she says. “He just went back and forth [on them] when he was peeing and told [another girlfriend] to clean it up afterwards. That was the worst that I’ve ever seen.”

Kelly categorically denies any wrongdoing:

Mr. Kelly is aware of the repeated and now evolving claims of [Ms. Jones],” Kelly’s representative wrote in a statement. “It is unfortunate that Ms. Jones, after public statements to the contrary, is now attempting to portray a relationship history with Mr. Kelly as anything other than consensual involvement between two adults. As stated previously, Mr. Kelly does not control the decision-making or force the actions of any other human being, including Ms. Jones, by her own admission. Any claim of wrongdoing of any kind or of mistreatment of any woman by him is false, ill-motived and defamatory.

R. Kelly Dismiss Rumors Of His Tour Dates Cancelled Over Low Ticket Sales Woman admits sex with R. Kelly at 16, claims he abused and spit on her entertainment Jerhonda Pace R Kelly

Jerhonda Johnson was just 15 years old during R. Kelly‘s child pornography trial, but she skipped high school every day to attend the trial and show off her status as his biggest fan.

Now married with the name of Jerhonda Pace and three children of her own, she told Buzzfeed News that she began a sexual relationship with Kelly at the age of sixteen and has since been the victim of a silencing campaign filled with payouts and nondisclosure agreements.

However, Pace said she was breaking the agreements by speaking out about her situation, saying that she was concerned about the other women that are still living with Kelly, including a friend that she brought into Kelly’s circle when they were young.

“If I can speak out and I can help them get out of that situation, that’s what I will do,” Pace said. “I didn’t have anybody to speak up on my behalf when I was going through what I was going through with him. He’s brainwashed them really bad, and it kind of reminds me of Charles Manson.”

“I just really hope I can help these women out,” she added. “Kelly needs to be stopped.”

Pace explained how, when she was 15, she attended Kelly’s child pornography trial and said watching the video of Kelly with a 14-year-old girl was “disturbing” but that she wasn’t convinced because the girl herself didn’t step forward. At the time, she was interviewed by reporters and was quoted as celebrating his acquittal, but she lied about her age at the time. She was reported as being 18, because no one underage was allowed at the trial.

She said that Kelly gave her his autograph when he was walking into court, and then, when she was 16, she lied to her parents in order to sneak off to a party that he had invited her to attend. She claimed to have lied about her age at the time, saying she was 19. After that point, Kelly invited her back again and had her strip down and walk around like a model. They then engaged in oral sex, and Pace said that he bought her silence by having her sign papers saying that she had stolen from him and that her parents had sent her to blackmail him.

She said that he got her drunk on her next visit. She wasn’t used to alcohol, and she was a virgin, which she said Kelly thought was exciting when they had intercourse during that visit.

After that, for seven months, they had repeated sexual encounters: “I had to call him ‘daddy,’ and he would call me ‘baby.’ He wanted me to have two pigtails, and I had to go out and find little schoolgirl outfits.”

She told him in July of 2009 that she was sixteen, but he continued his relationship with her. Pace then described a situation similar to that described by other women, in which she had to ask for permission to eat, shower, or use the bathroom.

Pace ended the relationship at last after Kelly got mad at her for texting a friend: “I was slapped and I was choked and I was spit on.”

The next day, she contacted the attorney offices of Susan E. Loggans, who negotiated a large settlement from Kelly for her, because she thought that Kelly would not be convicted if she tried for criminal charges, as had happened in the 2008 case. As part of that, she signed a nondisclosure agreement.

However, despite the threat of legal action against her, Pace felt that she had to speak out when she heard the stories of women similar to her own were being ignored.

“I know speaking out against Kelly, Kelly could sue me. But I’m really not worried about it anymore,” Pace explained. “I feel like this is a healing process for me, because I’ve been holding this in for so many years, and to see that he always gets away with it, it’s just not right. I’m just going forward with my head held high.”

Petition seeks to ban R. Kelly from Atlanta radio, cancel upcoming concert

R. Kelly has stepped forward to respond to reports that his tour dates are being cancelled due to low ticket sales.
The R&B legend has been under fire for the last few weeks for allegedly holding young girls hostage in what some people are saying is a sex cult. Since the story broke last month, new reports have surfaced claiming that some of his tour dates are being cancelled due to low ticket sales. This morning, R. Kelly posted a clip on Twitter telling his fans that none of his shows are cancelled.

“I want everybody around the world to know ain’t no tours cancelled,” Kelly said. “Alright? Despite what you hear, don’t believe the hype. I haven’t cancelled not one show.” TMZ previously reported that at least four dates have been cancelled on R. Kelly tour including shows in Los Angeles, Dallas, and Louisiana.
The Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles also confirmed the show’s cancellation via a statement released to the media, telling ticket holders that they can get a refund. “We regret to inform you that the R. Kelly event on Friday, Oct. 6, 2017 at 8:00p.m. has been cancelled,” the statement reads. “Refunds will be provided at point of purchase.”

R. Kelly ticket sales suffer after cult allegations forces him to speak outPetition seeks to ban R. Kelly from Atlanta radio, cancel upcoming concert entertainment r kelly 1

In response to the allegations made against R. Kelly claiming that he is holding young women hostage in a sex cult, a petition has been launched to ban him from Atlanta radio as well as to cancel an upcoming concert tour stop there.

The petition, with the tagline #MuteRKelly, asks the Atlanta radio community to “cease playing R. Kelly’s music on all Atlanta radio stations” and demands that the Fulton County Board of Commissioners “revoke the existing contract with Live Nation, for the August 25, 2017 concert at Wolf Amphitheater, in College Park, GA.”
The petition reads:
It’s time we take a collective stand against R. Kelly’s serial sexual, mental and physical abuse of young African American women. His flagrant disregard for our sisters has been ignored for far too long. Enough is enough. If the law won’t stop it, it’s time that we take a stand. We have failed our sisters and our community by allowing this monster to continue to prosper, continue to tour, continue to be played at our family reunions and weddings, and continue to get airtime on Atlanta radio.
The petition also calls out Atlanta’s “disgraceful history of child sex trafficking” before adding, “The latest allegations against R. Kelly are text book examples of sex trafficking and we cannot continue to promote him and his actions, especially in our city where this is such a rampant problem.”
The petition continues:
Let’s stand together and petition Atlanta’s radio stations to no longer play the music of a known rapist, pedophile and child molester. Let’s let it be known that we will NOT continue to tolerate the abuse of black women and girls in our city. Let’s come together as a community and say BLACK WOMEN’S LIVES AND SAFETY MATTER, not just against outside forces like the police, but against internal ones as well. Let’s let it be known that a celebrities ability to make us dance or cry or laugh does not absolve them of their crimes.

R. Kelly reportedly hires Cosby’s former attorney Monique Pressley R. Kelly ticket sales suffer after cult allegations entertainment r kelly 1 e1501344840554

Now that R. Kelly has been accused of holding women hostage in a sex cult, his ticket sales are floundering.
The first show on the singer’s After Party Tour was a little on the empty side according to TMZ.
The venue was the Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater in Virginia Beach, Virginia which holds 20,000 and it was only about half full of concertgoers.
According to Ticketmaster there are still hundreds of seats up for grabs for his show tonight in Baltimore. That venue only holds 4,400 in the seating area, though there is a lawn section as well.
Now, is this due to the recent allegations that Kelly is holding women in a sex cult? We can’t know for sure but it seems like a good bet.
Kelly denounced the rumors on Twitter on Thursday but that did not do anything to help bolster his ticket sales.

He swears he is not going to let this latest round of rumors get him down.

“Despite all of the crap y’all hearing, I will be coming to the East Coast to do my shows,” he said in the video. “And believe me y’all, it’s a bunch of crap.”

The alleged cult first came to light after Buzzfeed published an article that alleged he was keeping up to six women captive in his Chicago and Atlanta homes.

Multiple sources told reporter Jim DeRogatis that Kelly had been controlling all aspects of the women’s lives. He would tell them what they could wear, how to perform sexually and even when to go to the bathroom.

The parents of one of the girls, Timothy and Jonjelyn Savage claim that Kelly has had his hooks in their 19-year-old- daughter Jocelyn for almost two years. They haven’t seen her in some time but say that the last time they saw her she seemed “brainwashed” and “looked like a prisoner.”

Jocelyn has refuted these claims.

Woman who met R. Kelly backstage when she was 20 tells how she managed to escape the R&B star's 'sex cult' after he 'guilted her into posing for nude photographs R. Kelly reportedly hires Cosbys former attorney Monique Pressley entertainment R Kelly Monique Pressley

R. Kelly has been facing some serious allegations lately, with some claiming that he has been keeping young women in a “cult” in which he controls every aspect of their lives.

Now, he has reportedly hired Monique Pressley, the attorney who rose to national attention defending Bill Cosby following accusations that he had drugged and sexually assaulted several women, according to Daily Mail sources.

Last week, Linda Mensch, another attorney for R. Kelly, issued a statement on her client’s behalf in response to the many allegations against him.

“Mr. Robert Kelly is both alarmed and disturbed at the recent revelations attributed to him. Mr Kelly unequivocally denies such allegations and will work diligently and forcibly to pursue his accusers and clear his name,” the statement read.

The story exploded after Buzzfeed News published the accounts of the parents of Jocelyn Savage. Savage’s parents claimed that she was being held against her will and that she was experiencing Stockholm Syndrome, a state that they said explained why she would publicly state that she was fine and happy living with R. Kelly.

Savage also claimed that her father knew where she was, but Timothy Savage has denied those claims.

Alleged R. Kelly captive claims father sent her to live with singer

R. Kelly: another woman comes forward with sex allegations

  • She said a member of the star's group picked her out of the crowd at a concert
  • The unnamed woman - then 20 years old - then got a pass to meet him backstage
  • She says they spoke for a time after, and she would visited Kelly's Georgia home
  • The singer allegedly 'guilted' her into posing for nude photos during the visits
  • The unidentified woman said Kelly also gave her money to buy clothes he liked
  • Earlier, Joycelyn Savage denied claims she was living in a 'sex cult' with Kelly
  • 21-year-old's family fears she is being held against her will by the famous singer
  • Timothy, Joycelyn's father, claimed she was suffering from Stockholm Syndrome
  • She was 17 when she met Kelly after being invited backstage at a concert
  • Shortly after their meeting, she dropped out of college and went to live with him
  • Three women who used to live with her in one of the singer's houses claimed last week the famous star is operating a cult-like house for young women
  • Kelly, who has faced child pornography charges in the past, denies the claims

Another young woman has come forward to detail an alleged incident she had with R. Kelly in which the singer tried to 'lure' her into a relationship.

The woman, who has not been named, told TMZ she met Kelly when she was 20 years old at one of his concerts late last year.

During the performance, a member of the R&B star's crew spotted her and handed over a wristband so she could get backstage once the show was over.

The unidentified woman took the offer and was thrilled to meet the then-49-year-old singer.

She also posted a picture of the wristband to social media at the time, along with the caption: 'When the guy on stage give you a wrist band to go backstage and hang with R Kelly after the show.'

She told TMZ Kelly gave her his phone number, and they chatted on and off for a period of time. The singer also allegedly told the young woman he would help her build a career as a model and an actress.

She then went on to allege Kelly invited her to his home in Georgia, telling her she had to wear 'something sexy'.

During her visit, the woman - and a friend who went with her - allegedly were not allowed to use their phones, and at one point the young fan was 'escorted' into Kelly's bedroom.

While inside, the singer allegedly 'asked her to strut around and pose like a model' and requested she let him take intimate photographs of her.

The woman told TMZ she was given $200 as she left the Georgia property, and was instructed to: 'use it to buy black lingerie, heels and red lipstick for her next visit'.

The 20-year-old went on to tell the gossip website she visited Kelly's home on two more occasions, however a later incident put an end to their contact.

She claimed Kelly became more and more controlling with each visit, and even 'guilted her' into posing for naked photos.

The woman told TMZ the Ignition star then asked her to fly to Los Angeles to be with him - he was allegedly providing a one-way ticket, but after telling her mother about the plan, it was stopped.

The allegations come after one of the women allegedly being held captive in R. Kelly's reported 'sex cult' dismissed the claims she was with the singer against her will.

Joycelyn Savage, 21, hit back at comments from her family, and said her father has known exactly how she ended up living with the singer nearly two years ago.

'I am happy where I'm at and the people that I'm around, and it's getting out of hand - seriously,' she said in a video released to TMZ

'Because honestly you know the situation that had happened on the night that I went to meet R. Kelly.'

A friend has claimed the young woman's father, Timothy, encouraged the now 21-year-old woman to live with R. Kelly after the family met the performer at a concert.

The plan hatched by Timothy, R. Kelly and others, was for Joycelyn to live at the singer's house while she developed her voice, and the father even dropped her off with a friend prior to her being driven to the singer's house, a source told TMZ.

Joycelyn was 17 when she met R. Kelly in 2015 backstage at one of his concerts. They grew close and her mother, Jonjelyn Savage, later accompanied her to spend time with him. Joycelyn now says that her father is 'embarrassing' her whole family and has begged him to stop trying to contact her.

'Dad, you know that everything that's going on in the media and on the internet, and what you have done is a complete disaster and you need to stop,' she said in a video. 'Because right now I am fed up with everything you are doing. You are embarrassing me and the whole entire family.'

She added: 'So I would like for you - matter of fact I would love for you to stop what you're doing because I can't believe you even went this far. I love you to death but I need you to understand me. Please stop what you're doing. Please.'

Joycelyn came forward after watching her mother, father and sister hold a press conference earlier on Monday during which they claimed she was being held by Kelly at a home in Atlanta.

They said she was one of many young women who the 50-year-old singer had targeted in recent years and that they hadn't spoken to her for months.

In her BuzzFeed interview, she said she thought it would be 'fine' for her daughter to spend time with the star if she was there to watch over her.

Cheryl Mack, Kitti Jones, and Asante McGee - all former members of Kelly's entourage - also described in detail the sort of treatment endured by young women who find themselves pulled into the singer's orbit.

A representative for Kelly spoke out about the claims after they emerged, saying the singer 'unequivocally denies' them and said he will 'work diligently and forcibly to pursue his accusers and to clear his name'.

Earlier, Mack, Jones, and McGee said there are at least six women living in properties rented by the R&B star in Chicago and Atlanta. The 'guest houses' where the women are kept are near his home in suburban Atlanta, and his apartment at Trump Tower in Chicago, they said

'You have to ask for food. You have to ask to go use the bathroom… [Kelly] is a master at mind control... He is a puppet master,' Mack, who worked as the singer's assistant, told the website.

The women, who said the 'babies' - as the girls are referred to - are required to call Kelly 'Daddy', then ran through a list of people they believe were living either at one of the performer's properties in Atlanta or his Chicago recording studio last summer.

The first woman mentioned in the article was a 31-year-old 'den mother', who is reportedly responsible for 'training newcomers on how Kelly liked to be pleasured sexually'.

The 'den mother' 'had been best friends since high school' with the person in a videotape that led to Kelly standing trial on child pornography charges in 2008.

The other women his ex-entourage believe were in his properties last summer included: a 25-year-old woman who has known Kelly for seven years, a 26-year-old Atlanta songwriter who began her relationship with him when she was 19, a 19-year-old model, and 'his number one girl' - an 18-year-old aspiring pop star from Florida.

Mack said many of the young women are sucked in by the singer because they think: 'This is R. Kelly, I'm going to live a lavish lifestyle'.

In addition to the aforementioned control Kelly has, he allegedly demands the women ask his permission before leaving a room, are forced to wear jogging suits in public in order to keep their figures hidden, have their phones taken and are given new ones that are only allowed to be used to contact him or others approved by him, and have to deal with a 'burly' SUV driver parked outside his properties.

Kelly has regularly denied any allegations about underage sexual encounters. The singer has been dogged by then since his child pornography charges, as well as him marrying fellow singer Aaliyah in 1994 when she was 15.

A lawyer who represents the singer said in response to the new allegations: 'We can only wonder why folks would persist in defaming a great artist who loves his fans, works 24/7, and takes care of all of the people in his life.'

Linda Mensch continued: 'He works hard to become the best person and artist he can be. It is interesting that stories and tales debunked many years ago turn up when his goal is to stop the violence; put down the guns; and embrace peace and love.

'I suppose that is the price of fame. Like all of us, Mr. Kelly deserves a personal life. Please respect that.'

A representative for Kelly said Monday afternoon: 'Mr. Robert Kelly is both alarmed and disturbed by the recent revelations attributed to him. Mr. Kelly unequivocally denies such accusations and will work diligently and forcibly to pursue his accusers and clear his name.'

Earlier, Savage's parents took part in an interview with BuzzFeed that aired worrying allegations Kelly had been holding a handful of young women in cult like conditions and effectively treating them as his sexual slaves for years.

Some former members of his entourage vouched for their concern. Three separate women said they were all forced to subscribe to his rules.

They said they were told when to eat, bathe, sleep and had to perform sexual acts on one another which the singer then recorded.

Savage's mother recalled painstakingly how she was present when her daughter met the singer as an aspiring musician herself after being invited backstage to a concert in 2015.

It is not clear exactly when Jocelyn went to live with Kelly but her family say they have not seen her since December last year.  'It was as if she was brainwashed. [She] looked like a prisoner — it was horrible,' her mother said.

R. Kelly In Damage Control Denies Holding Female In Cult Alleged R. Kelly captive claims father sent her to live with singer entertainment jocelyn savage r kelly

Joycelyn Savage, the 21-year-old whose parents claimed that she was being held captive by R. Kelly in a “cult,” claims that not only is she fine but her father knows exactly where she is and approved of her living with the famed singer.
Savage claimed that she and her father, Timothy, decided that her music career could really take off if she moved in with R. Kelly, and he was the one who dropped her off at a friend’s home, and from there, she would go to Kelly’s home.
She told TMZ that her father knew she would be staying with Kelly for a while, and he is only speaking out now because he did not think it would be a matter of years.

This after TMZ published a video of her stating that she was “in a happy place” and is “totally fine.”

“I am not being brainwashed or anything like that,” she said. “I just want everybody to know, my parents and everybody else in the world, that I am totally fine and happy where I’m at.”

However, when asked about other women in the house and pressed on whether or not she was free to come and go from the house as she pleased, Savage said she would not “speak on that.”

Earlier this week, reports that Kelly was running a “cult” started to circulate, stemming from a Buzzfeed report in which Savage’s parents claimed that they had not seen their daughter since December and that Savage was being held against her will and that she “looked like a prisoner.”

The report also included details from Cheryl Mack, Kitti Jones and Asante McGee, who all claimed to have previously been part of Kelly’s inner circle and who all testified that Kelly was holding at least six women in Chicago and Atlanta, controlling everything from what they ate and wore to when they could use the bathroom.

Is R. Kelly holding young women against their will in an abusive sex 'cult'? {VIDEO}

Yesterday R. Kelly was a trending topic on Instagram after a damning report from Buzzfeed about the singer holding six young girls against their will in a “sex cult” like environment.

One of the young women is the daughter of the couple that filed the report. The report was disturbing enough to warrant a response from R. Kelly, as well as, the female in question who spoke with TMZ denying that she is held against her will. She didn’t disclosed where she is, but she said that she was okay and can leave anytime she wants.

“Mr. Robert Kelly is both alarmed and disturbed by the recent revelations attributed to him,” Kelly’s lawyer, Linda Mensch, told Pitchfork in a statement. “Mr. Kelly unequivocally denies such accusations and will work diligently and forcibly to pursue his accusers and clear his name.”

“We can only wonder why folks would persist in defaming a great artist who loves his fans, works 24/7, and takes care of all of the people in his life,” Mensch added. Sources say that R. Kelly is holding at least half a dozen ladies in a cult-like atmosphere where he dictates how they dress, what they eat, when they take a shower and other aspects of their lives.

The latest bombshell against the singer comes via a lengthy Buzzfeed report entitled "Inside the Pied Piper of R&B's 'Cult'," written by longtime Chicago music journalist Jim DeRogatis. The story, based on interviews with a trio of alleged former Kelly inner circle members -- Cheryl Mack, Kitti Jones, and Asante McGee -- as well as reviews of legal documents, claim that six women recruited by Kelly live in his rented properties, where he is in control of all aspects of their lives: "from what they eat, how they dress, when they bathe, when they sleep, and how they engage in sexual encounters that he records."

Mack and Jones told DeRogatis that Kelly has a strict set of "rules" the women must follow, which result in physical and verbal punishments if they don't comply.

According to Mack and Jones, breaking the singer's rules results in punishments, with Mack claiming that "you have to ask to use the bathroom... [Kelly] is a master at mind control... He is a puppet master." Mack, Jones and McGee listed the women who allegedly lived in Kelly Duluth, Georgia, "guest house" and his Chicago recording studio last summer.

They described them as including a 31-year-old "den mother" who "trained" newcomers on how Kelly liked to be pleasured sexually. That unnamed woman was reportedly best friends since high school with the girl at the center of a 2008 trial in Chicago in which a jury acquitted Kelly of child pornography charges after he was accused of having sex with a then 14-year-old girl and videotaping it. The Grammy winner has denied allegations he had sexual relationships with underage girls in the past, although he has settled a number of lawsuits; he also claimed in a 2016 interview with GQ magazine that he'd been sexually abused as a child.

The victims also reportedly include: a 25-year-old woman who's been party of Kelly's entourage for seven years, a 19-year-old recent arrival model who's been photographed with Kelly in public and named on music gossip sites, a 26-year-old Atlanta songwriter who began her relationship with Kelly around 2009, when she was 19 and an 18-year-old singer from Polk County, Florida, who Mack said was 50-year-old Kelly's "favorite -- his number one girl."

One mother, who thought Kelly was interested in helping her then 19-year-old daughter's music career when they met the singer in 2015, was aware of the numerous allegations against the singer over the years. She and her husband thought they could protect their daughter, though two years later they are reportedly in a "desperate fight" to bring her home.

The mom has shuttered her business, turned into an amateur detective and reached out to the FBI and police in two states with her concerns, though officials say their daughter is not a missing person in the eyes of the law because she says she's living with Kelly and doing fine. Her parents, however, have told police she's being "held against her will" in what they've deemed a "cult."

Police reportedly performed welfare checks in both Illinois and Georgia over the past year and no charges were filed after the aspiring singer allegedly told Cook County police she was "fine and did not want to be bothered." The mom, though, had a different story about the last time she saw her daughter on Dec. 1, 2016. "It was as if she was brainwashed. [She] looked like a prisoner -- it was horrible," she said. "I hugged her and hugged her. But she just kept saying she's in love and [Kelly] is the one who cares for her. I don't know what to do. I hope that if I get her back, I can get her treatment for victims of cults. They can reprogram her. But I wish I could have stopped it from happening."

The woman's parents have only heard from her twice since then. Spokespeople for the Duluth Police Department and Cook County Sheriff's Department could not be reached for comment on the report at press time.

Jones and McGee, who both said they lived with Kelly and had sexual relationships with him over the past five years before leaving his orbit, claimed they had limited control over their phones and social media feeds during that time, with no photos allowed with Kelly or any of the rooms in his homes. Mack added that Kelly often insists the women wear jogging outfits because "he doesn't want their figures to be exposed; he doesn't want them to look appealing. In addition, Mack said that when men are in the same room, Kelly would make the "girls turn around and face the wall in their jogging suits because he doesn't want them to be looked at by anyone else."

The three former staffers claim Kelly calls the women who live with him his "babies," that they are required to call him "Daddy" and that they must ask permission to leave the Chicago recording studio or their assigned rooms in the guest house near his rented mansion in suburban Atlanta. The singer allegedly confiscated their cell phones and gave them new ones that they are only allowed to use to call him or others with his permission. McGee and Jones also claim that Kelly films his sexual activities with the women and shares the videos with men in his inner circle.

DeRogatis noted that the law allows consenting adults to take part in any relationship they like, no matter how "nontraditional," and that all the women allegedly in Kelly's circle are of legal age. The reporter, who has written extensively on Kelly in the past, said the singer has settled more than a dozen civil lawsuits out of court with cash payments, including a recent one for a 17-year-old aspiring singer who was said to have been part of Kelly's inner circle.

Buzzfeed also said it had obtained recordings made by Kelly that DeRogatis said proves a pattern of behavior with women in which he changes the subject from music to sex, though the two snippets included in the story involve small-talk about music. A spokesperson for Kelly could not be reached for comment at press time.

R. Kelly is sick again / R. Kelly Hospitalized

(Instagram/Halle Calhoun)

When photos emerged of 49-year-old R. Kelly galavanting around with a young model named Halle Calhoun, I wasn’t surprised the R&B singer appeared unbothered and even happy.
The ‘couple’ smoked cigars, hugged up on each other and keke’d in sexy swimsuits openly in public. At this point, why should R&B’s ‘Pied Piper’ be worried?
Kells has dated younger women before – hell, he married the late Aaliyah when she was 15 and he was 27. He was accused of child pornography in the early 2000s. Dozens of women have alleged Kelly sexually abused them. The lawsuits. The sex tapes.
All these years later, he’s still in the game – playing by his own rules.
Nothing has stopped the music and he isn’t the first to do it.
What I found interesting was that even as the story trended, there was a significant portion of the online universe shouting “Let them live!”— as if ‘love conquers all’ was a motto good enough to explain a man dating a young woman his daughter’s age.
Calhoun’s true age hasn’t been confirmed, and we certainly don’t know if their relationship is sexual. If she is indeed 19 or 20, the college student is at the age of consent and weathering the public interest in Kelly’s love life with a fair amount of grace.
But there’s a reason many of us are still uncomfortable – and that’s because the issue is bigger than R. Kelly.
The image Kelly evokes when he’s seen smiling and smoking cigars with the fresh-faced Calhoun is reflected in our own communities with adults who have similar reputations for “young appetites” and unchecked authority.
We know who they are.
They are are adults who pursue teens in the prime of their puberty or even before. They can be teachers, pastors, family members, Hollywood executives, people entrusted to care for young people and those who are not.
Some of these grown-ups are pursued in court for their inappropriate relationships while others never have to sit in front of judge. They know how to manipulate and make promises to earn trust. And when many of these relationships end, they leave young people scarred.
Back when I was a teacher I recall a young woman who went missing for days thanks to the influence of an older boyfriend. Beautiful, bright and usually responsible, she took a detour that scared us all. I saw firsthand the regret and disappointment in her eyes when she finally returned and told me what happened. The definition of consent is “permission for something to happen.” And “consent” from a child is really no consent at all.
Take for example a 2003 Center For Health statistics report that of black teen mothers age 15-17 years old, 40 percent of the fathers were men over the age of 21. Across race, there was a trend of teen marriage to older partners. The startling number was cited by activist Feminista Jones in a Twitter debate about the impact of racism and toxic masculinity. She tweeted:
“What, exactly could a 25 y/o man want with a 15 y/o girl other than to exploit her, control her, and feel a false sense of power?”

Jones’ question is one we should ask ourselves each time we see a case like R. Kelly’s in our own worlds.
“Do you like teenage girls?” cultural critic Touré pressed R. Kelly back in 2008.
“When you say teenage, how old we talking?” Kells responded.
Halle Calhoun or whatever love interest comes next are sure to fill our timelines with jokes and judgment. But when it comes to our own blocks, neighborhoods and impressionable young people — maybe it’s time to stop staring, laughing and staying quiet.
Sometimes, age is more than a number.

R. Kelly is reportedly ill and Sunfest organizers are hoping he will be able to make it to the event this year.
Last year, R. Kelly had to pull out of the event due to a similar illness.
According to reports, R. Kelly's reps insist that he will make it to the festival.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Multi-platinum R&B singer R Kelly was rushed to the hospital yesterday to drain an abscess on one of his tonsils.

R. Kelly is currently laid up at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and will remain there "for an indefinite amount of time," according to a press release.

Kells reportedly was suffering from severe throat pain, then went to a throat specialist and was subsequently rushed to the hospital to undergo surgery.

R. Kelly had just completed the U.S. portion of the Love Letter Tour and was scheduled to perform on Friday at Reggae Sumfest in Jamaica prior to this incident.

We hope the Pied Piper has a speedy recovery and keeps his great singing voice intact!

On the 1- hand; the females are using him to freak their own celebrity sex desires, on the 2nd; he is using them to explore his celebrity status sex desires. That's all good time mutual fun, but the 3rd finger say "short eyes" reward for under age sex acts is Not a blessing with out consent, must pay for them sinful, crimes . Punish the pied piper. I agree.

The only reason why this beast is still running wild is because the females are black. Notice how that wristband says "The Buffet Tour"! Yikes! When ol' boy took her back to the crib and the first thing he did was whip it out, she she have run for dodge. I don't feel sorry for none of these chicks that want to lay up under that beast.

Money have never made nobody smart or ethical. Also the USA is part of the world where injustices occur, if it can happen, it could be here as anywhere. People that committed crimes around the world that aren't as popular get caught - do time or get penalized other ways. However, a lot of brothers get pulled over for common "crimes"(how wrong is it if everybody is doing it, and nobody gets hurt?) As if the big part of the offense is being black and recognized.
If you trying to say all those people wanted to be assaulted, so they got what they asked for, then try being the victim first .

R.Kelly have the money and the means to go on any country in the world, to do all the things that he is accused of and worse, without no repercussion, and you are trying to convince me that he does it in the USA, so he can go to jail for life. Instead of going to any countries in the world, and do worse, and pay a few dollars if caught....You are witnessing commercial against one of the role model of Black Skins, and the hands trying to dismiss him, will not stop until he is in jail or decapitated of his influence and aspiration to black kids, similar to what Tiger Woods, Michael Jackson, Mike Tyson, OJ Simpson, Bill Cosby, Jay-z, P. Diddy, Mr. Isley, Wesley Snipes went through...The 'hidden hand' is destroying their reputations one by one, to further the stereotype that black man ain't nothing and will never be anything, need I remind you, that we have an orange clown doing his part to remove all traits of the former first MIXED president of the USA. BET, once a pillar of black advancement and aspiration, bought by viacom and turned into a ratchet academy for uneducated idiots, the black race is being degraded mentally by little potion of slowly manipulation. Bruno Mali once said ' they take the father out of the house to stop proper development"

Guess that a couple of people here have never heard of reality tv, and how kim kardsmashinenem achieved a level of notoriety from an exposed sex tape. Might be trying a different route with their personal life exposure because those questions are "head-scratchers".

So true. Why tell the planet all your private business instead of calling the cops privately during/after the incident? Why are you dating a known pedophile? WHY DON'T WOMEN LEAVE AFTER THAT FIRST SLAP...YOU KNOW MORE SLAPS OR WORST ARE DEFINITELY COMING LATER! Low IQs I guess.

Comment by Red Walker on October 24, 2017 at 2:53pm

It is so hard to believe anything anymore. Why would these women come out in public to discuss their personal business to the whole wide world instead of breaking up with the person or going to the police? Are they looking for sympathy, money, fame because they have no shame? If anything negative happens to me I do not want the whole world knowing my business, these women, girls have no problem doing that. It is very clear Rkelly is into young women, and even at one point underage girls. Because he got publicly exposed for doing it, I do not believe he would try sleeping with an underage girl again. But older man sleeping with younger women over 18 years old is legal and happens all the time, no big deal. For Rkelly it is, and it becomes big news even if the girl is of legal age where no law is broken. I don't know where the future is going but, if grown women rather use the internet then to settle the differences between each other or court of law, man is going to be looking at women like they are a big joke. Women went through so much to get equality, these women are bringing them backwards. Because they sound stupid. I know a lot of men would feel women are smarter than men.
