Prince Update: Family Gifted Big Bucks by George Lopez {F}

PRINCE’S CARIBBEAN CONNECTION + Prince 'was diagnosed with AIDS 6 months before he died and refused treatment because he believed God would heal him' {F}

*Here’s one more story to add to the on-going Prince saga.
It seem Prince’s family, according to TMZ, has a guardian angel by the name of George Lopez.
The comedian is fronting money to the family in their time of need.

Turns out … George was tight with Prince, and he learned all of the assets in the estate have been frozen until a judge determines how much the administrator can give family members for living expenses. Prince was generous with his family, giving them money and even homes during his life.

Some of the singer’s siblings are now cash strapped because they’ve been temporarily cut off, and we’ve learned George has advanced them $20k to cover living and travel expenses and that figure could go up.

We’re told George did it all anonymously … not wanting any fanfare or adulation.

Wow, this whole Prince saga is getting more interesting by the day. To say his death opens up a multitude of questions is an understatement.

Below, Prince performs “The Beautiful Ones” on the “George Lopez Tonight” show.

Millions are mourning the death of 57 year-old pop icon Prince (born Prince Rogers Nelson) who was found dead at his suburban Minneapolis home last week. Some may be surprised to know that two of the women closest to him (his muse and publicist) have Caribbean roots.

Further, with his sprawling mansion in the Turks’ and Caicos, its safe to say Prince also calls the islands’ home.

Damaris-Lewis-Prince-Warriors-game

Damaris Lewis is Prince’s muse and though Born in Brooklyn, she proudly shares her Kittitian heritage and love for the island on Social Media. Prince saw her talent after hosting a special presentation for The Africa Channel entitled, “Prince! Behind The Symbol: Music Special”, during his Welcome 2 America – 21 Night Stand at The Los Angeles Forum. After months of secret rehearsals, in May 2012 he selected her as his Muse and Dancer during his “Welcome 2 Australia Tour” 2012 with The New Power Generation.

She continued touring with Prince & NPG for his 2012 “Welcome to Chicago Tour,” appeared with the band on Jimmy Kimmel live, and served as his muse for his closing show at SXSW 2013 in Austin Texas. In the summer of 2013, Damaris traveled to Switzerland to perform with the band at the Iconic Montreux Jazz Festival.

Yvette-Noel-Schure

Yvette Noel-Schure, co-owner of Shure Media Group and former senior VP of Media at Columbia Records/Sony Music, is Prince’s publicist and a Grenada native. Yvette started her business career as a journalist. In 1985, Noel-Schure joined the staff of Black Beat Magazine where she served as editor until moving to Columbia Records as Director, Media in 1993. In 1997, she was named Senior Director, Media staying up to 2010 and handling press for every genre before leaving to open Schure Media Group. Since signing her first client Beyoncé, Noel-Schure has gone on to develop press campaign for a diverse group of acts including Mariah Carey, Will smith, Jessica Simpson, John Legend, Adele, Wyclef Jean, Maxwell, Adele and Destiny’s Child.

In 2015 she was honored by the Caribbean Heritage Organization with a Trailblazer award.

It was Noel-Schure who released all official statements to the media on behalf of Prince’s estate, including updates on his private funeral, which she said included his “most beloved” family, friends and musicians. She also confirmed that a larger musical celebration will be held at a future date. Though it isn’t known just how many attended the service, photos were captured of Damaris, Prince’s sister Tyka Nelson and brother-in-law Maurice Phillips entering the grounds, as well as close friends Sheila E. and bassist Larry Graham.

Prince himself had a sprawling home in the Caribbean, and specifically in the Turtle Tail section of Providenciales Turks and Caicos Island (TCI).

What’s a Prince owned home without a purple driveway!

The TCI Tourism Office through the Premier, Dr Rufus Ewing and the Minister of Tourism Porsha Stubbs-Smith issued a message of condolence which read:
Prince was a homeowner and frequent visitor of the beautiful Turks and Caicos Islands,” said P “He was often seen enjoying the sites of the islands and mingling with locals and visitors alike. On his many visits he also worked with local artists helping them to improve their craft.

Prince was music,” the message continued, “He was arguably one of the most influential musicians of modern times with hit records that transcended genres, race and age. Prince’s creativity and impact will forever live on in the hearts of those that loved him. We join the world in mourning the loss of a legend.

Prince was born in 1958, his first song at the age of seven was the beginning of a fruitful career that included writing hits for other artists including Nothing Compares 2 U” for Sinead O’Connor, “Manic Monday” for The Bangles and “How Come U Don’t Call Me Anymore?” for Alicia Keys . A Rock and Roll Music Hall of Fame awardee (2004), Prince also had numerous hits of his own including “Purple Rain” “1999” and ‘Lets Go Crazy.”

His latest album HITnRUN Phase One was released last year to positive acclaim. He has been touring for the past few months. Last week he was seen at a hospital for flu-like symptoms but soon after performed in Atlanta. On Friday he was found unresponsive in an elevator at his studio. He was cremated the following day. No word yet on official cause of death.

RIP prince, you will definitely live on through the memories of those who loved you and the music that the world loved.

Prince was suffering from AIDS before being found dead last week and had refused treatment because he believed he could be cured by prayer, it has been claimed.

The Purple Rain singer, who was a Jehovah's Witness, was diagnosed with the crippling condition just six months before he passed away, sources told the National Enquirer.

The 57-year-old weighed just 80lbs by the time of his death and had been 'preparing to die for a little while', the supermarket tabloid says sources told it.

A source, who was not identified by the Enquirer, said: 'Doctors told Prince his blood count was unusually low and that his body temperature had dropped dangerously below the normal 98.6 degrees to 94 degrees.

'He was totally iron-deficient, very weak and often disoriented. He rarely ate and when he did, it all came right back up.

'His face was yellowish, the skin on his neck was hanging off and the tips of fingers were a brownish-yellow.'

This comes as sources close to the investigation into the singer's death claimed that he had prescription painkillers in his possession when he died.

CNN reported that the pain-killing substance was found on Prince while the Star Tribune in Minneapolis reported that prescription pills were found where the musician died at the age of 57 last week at his home in suburban Minneapolis.

Both reports were based on unidentified law enforcement sources.

According to the National Enquirer Prince was diagnosed with HIV back in the 1990s, but that developed into AIDS toward the end of last year.

The Enquirer goes on to claim that the singer became addicted to opiate medication Percoet that he was using to dull the pain he was suffering in his last months of life.

A statement by those close to Prince following his death said he died of influenza, an infection that would likely have proved fatal if his immune system had been decimated by AIDS.

Days before he was found dead in a lift at his Paisley Park mansion in Chanhassen, Minneapolis, he had been seen making runs to a local pharmacy to pick up bags of prescriptions.

An employee at the Walgreens that served him said: 'We were all just shocked that he came in last night looking so beat. We said: "We are praying for you."'

'He said, almost under his breath: "Maybe if you prayed for me a year ago it’d be different right now." Then he waved and said thanks anyway.'

Rumors have surrounded the cause of Prince's death, who was known as much for his sexually androgynous stage persona and wild sex life as his music.

It has been rumored that Prince died from an overdose of Percocet, and had nearly passed away on board his private plane while touring six days before he was found unresponsive at home.

The jet was required to make an unscheduled landing despite being just 45 minutes from the artist's home, though his representatives again said he was suffering from flu.

However sources told TMZ that Prince actually had to be rushed to hospital for a 'save shot', typically used on patients who have taken an overdose of opiate medication.

While the autopsy report into Prince's death may not been released for several weeks, officers have already said there was no indication of suicide.

Lawyer L. Londell McMillan, who knew Prince for 25 years and at one time was his manager, has denied the singer had an addiction.

McMillan said Prince's death had come as a shock to all who knew him because he lived a 'clean and healthy lifestyle.'

Meanwhile the singer's estate is still in limbo after it was revealed he refused to sign a will.

The exact value of the estate is unknown, and it has been suggested that Prince was running out of money because he refused to sell the licences to his music, forcing him to begin touring again.

On Wednesday a Minneapolis judge granted sister Tyka Nelson's request to have a corporate trust company temporarily oversee proceedings.

Judge Kevin Eide appointed Bremer Trust as special administrator, giving the company authority to manage and supervise Prince's assets and identify his heirs.

Eide said Prince had no appointed personal representative but had substantial assets and owned businesses that require immediate attention and ongoing management.

The judge also noted that identities and addresses of Prince's heirs need to be determined. Prince's only full sibling, Tyka Nelson, requested the move Tuesday, telling the court she believed her brother didn't have a will.

Prince has five surviving half-siblings who could share in the estate. Legal observers have said the process of dividing up his assets could drag on for years.

Sitting behind a row of elderly worshipers, he looks just like any other Jehovah's Witness.

But the man in the white jacket listening intently is actually Prince - or 'Brother Nelson' as those in the church knew him.

Prince - whose real name was Prince Nelson Rogers - was so devoted to his faith that he remixed some of their songs of worship, Daily Mail Online can reveal.

The musician - who died on Thursday aged 57 - ditched Purple Rain for the religious melodies to show how proud he was in 2001.

But the Watchtower Society, the governing body of the faith, sent him a letter explaining that the songs were copyrighted and they were their property.

They asked the Jehovah's Witnesses in Minnesota near his Paisley Park estate who had copies of the music to destroy them.

The church of Jehovah's Witnesses, a sometimes controversial religion, could now stand to inherit a huge chunk of the musician's $300 million fortune.

If the Purple One truly believed then the church could be in line for its biggest ever payday - that will net it hundreds of millions in royalty payments in years to come.

In this photo Prince is seen at a regional conference for Jehovah's Witnesses last summer where he was apparently given no special treatment despite being a megastar.

Prince sits at the back of his section and wears none of the flamboyant stage wear for which he is known.

On Prince's right appears to be Larry Graham, the bassist with funk band Sly and the Family Stone, who is also the uncle to rapper Drake.

Graham was the one who in 2001 persuaded Prince to convert to being a Jehovah's Witness and the two seem to have remained extremely close over the next 15 years.

COUNTDOWN TO PRINCE'S DEATH

Thursday, April 14: Prince performs in Atlanta and appears to be fine.

Friday, April 15: Prince's private plane makes an emergency landing at Moline, Illinois, and he is taken to hospital for 'flu symptoms'. He is released after three hours of treatment.

Saturday, April 16: Prince goes to a party in Minnesota to give 'proof' he is still alive. 'Wait a few days before you waste any prayers,' he tells fans.

Sunday, April 17: Prince is seen riding a bicycle outside his apartment.

Wednesday, April 20: Prince is taken to a Twin Cities hospital seen by a doctor. He is later seen looking 'frail and nervous' at a Walgreen's store near his estate at around 7pm. It is his fourth visit to the pharmacy this week. He is last seen entering his home at about 8pm and speaks to Will Smith that night.

Thursday, April 21: Prince is found unresponsive in an elevator inside his compound at 9.43am. He is pronounced dead at 10.07am.

It took Graham two years to persuade Prince to convert and he did so by inviting on his tour and having Bible study before and after each show.

In a 2008 interview with the Washington Post, Prince said: 'I don't see it really as a conversion. More, you know, it's a realization.

'It's like Morpheus and Neo in The Matrix.'

Somehow the church allowed Prince to join despite his raunchy lyrics and history of excess.

Former Jehovah's Witness Scott Terry said that ex-Witnesses thought it was 'baffling' that Prince was allowed to become a Jehovah's Witness as his sexy behavior contradicts with many of their strict beliefs.

Jehovah's Witnesses have a strict, particular interpretation of the Bible and can't associate with non-believers, join the Armed Forces, salute the American Flag or vote.

Nor can they do yoga, play on a sports team, be hypnotized, celebrate Valentine's Day or play bingo.

Other followers of the religion have included Michael Jackson and Venus and Serena Williams.

Terry, who wrote the book 'Cowboys, Armageddon, and The Truth: How a Gay Child Was Saved from Religion', said that Prince may have been getting a 'free pass' from the church because of who he is.

Terry said in an email: 'There really wasn't anything unusual when he showed up to the Kingdom Hall or for large assemblies, other than the fact that he always came with two bodyguards.

'He wasn't given any special treatment for his status outside the religion, except of course for the obvious fact that the JW hierarchy was willing to overlook his "sins" outside of the religion.

'People who are wealthy and famous, like Prince, are not held under the same microscope as rank and file members of the church.

'Wealth apparently grants them a pass on activities outside of the religion'.

Unlike Scientology which has a 'Celebrity Center' where worshipers get a chance to meet the stars, Jehovah's Witnesses do not use their celebrities for publicity.

There is no monthly tithe and followers are asked to give money in a box that is usually by the door of each Kingdom Hall, their name for their church.

Terry said that he had read Facebook posts as recently as six months ago saying that Prince was going door to door appealing for donations like all other worshipers do.

According to interviews with his family Prince arrived in a limousine outside a stranger's house and would exit wearing a tailored suit and his trademark stack heels.

Surrounded by four bodyguards he would walk up to the front door and knock before asking: 'Would you like to talk about Jesus?'

Another explanation for Prince's conversion was that it was the last request of his mother, jazz singer Mattie Shaw.

Prince had been raised a Seventh Day Adventist - a closely related but different faith - but she wanted him to be a Jehovah's Witness as she had been for most of her life.

As a result he wed second wife Manuela Testolini weeks before Shaw passed away and six months after the death of his father, pianist and bandleader John L Nelson.

And after signing up, Prince seemed to take it all very seriously.

In 2005, he reportedly needed double hip-replacement surgery but wouldn't undergo the operation because Jehovah's Witnesses refuse blood transfusions.

It appears that Prince's death may have been related to taking pain medication for the same condition.

In an interview on US TV Prince once said that he did not even vote because of his faith.

Prince said: 'President Obama is a very smart individual and he seems like he means well. Prophecy is what we all have to go by now.'

In a 2001 interview he appeared to go back on even his own sexual lyrics even though he was still performing them.

He said: 'When I look at the violence, I wonder where the parents are, but also where is God in their lives? A kid is an open computer ready for programming. Some weird relationships happen, smoking too early and sex'.

Prince was so dedicated that he even gave one journalist who interviewed him a leaflet and told him to call any time - so he could personally convert him.

Graham lives a few miles from Prince near his sprawling Paisley Park estate just outside Minneapolis and has remained close to him until his death.

In an interview with Dutch TV station Nederland 1 from the 1990s, Graham and Prince appeared together and looked more like father and son than friends.

In the video Prince says: 'Larry is as important as anyone, anywhere any time'.

Graham says it is a 'wonderful blessing' to be working with Prince, who hired him to be part of his New Power Generation group .

Prince says that he is seeking 'complete oneness with the spiritual God and the knowledge of the truth'.

He said: 'He's (Larry) been so kind as to help me with a lot of things I didn't have a firm grip on.

'There's a lot of temptation out in the world and it can confuse you and get you wrapped up in something that keeps you from the truth but with a loving brother like that by your side, you usually do alright.

Graham said: 'We have a very close relationship, we spend a lot of time digging into the truth, and getting closer to our creator.

'We are connected heart to heart, and out of the heart comes the music'.

The extent of Prince's devotion to his faith will be shown by how much he leaves the church in his will.

It is not known if Prince even had a will, in which case his family could become embroiled in a battle over his fortune akin to the one which tore apart Michael Jackson’s family.

Prince died with no wife and no children meaning that unless he did write a will then his sister Tyka stands to inherit his estate.

Prince’s earnings are set to skyrocket after his death and there is said to be enough music at his Paisley Park estate to release an album every year for the next 200 years.

In addition to his sister, Prince has four half brothers and three half sisters would could lay claim to their share of his assets just at the King of Pop’s family did to his.

Former Witness and advocate Alexandra James said that Jehovah's Witness leaders have recently been on a drive to get followers to leave the church their inheritance instead of 'non believer' family members.

She said: 'We've seen lots of stories about people being pressured into leaving their estate, especially if their family are not Witnesses.

'I can completely see that Prince would come under pressure to do the same.

'Does it happen officially? No. Does it happen unofficially? Yes.

'We have had stories of family members being asked: 'Why leave it to them (your family)? You should be leaving it to the other Witnesses'.

James added that as far as she was aware there was not even an official endorsement of Prince and that the way he presents himself is in total contrast to the 'serious, somber' way most Witnesses are.

Prince was a publisher with good standing here in our congregation. He was active, he shared in the ministry every month
Brother George Cook, elder in the church Prince attended

She said: 'Prince performing in front of others, drawing a crowd to himself, associating that closely with non-Witnesses.

'These are things that would get rank-and-file members some major counseling if not disfellowshipping (excommunication).

'So in some ways they do seem to get special treatment even if it's not overt and obvious'.

Days after Prince's death Daily Mail Online visited the Kingdom Hall in Saint Louis Park, Minneapolis where prince was a worshiper.

Witnesses said that he gave the congregation significant ‘gifts of mercy’ over the years, though the large cash donations were made in secret in line with the teachings of Jehovah.

Brother George Cook, who is one of the nine elders of the small 90-person congregation, said that Prince was a 'publisher', meaning somebody who spreads the word of God. He said: ‘Prince was a publisher with good standing here in our congregation. He was active, he shared in the ministry every month.

‘We didn’t see him very often because he was away all the time, but he did attend the memorial of Christ’s death on March 23 here, he brought some of his band members with him.

‘He was a spiritual man from what I know of him and he talked to individuals and he very strongly believed in the message of the bible that Jehovah Witness’s proclaim.

‘He believed that the true God is Jehovah and he knew for example that when we die, we’re dead, we’re sleeping and the hope is the resurrection, that’s why Jesus died.’

In a rare public statement, a spokesman for the Jehovah's Witnesses said the church was 'saddened' to hear about Prince's death.

David A. Semonian said that Prince 'found fulfillment as a Witness and in sharing his faith with others'.

The statement said: 'We do not have any details regarding his medical condition or the cause of his death.

'Our thoughts are with his family and friends, particularly his fellow worshipers in the Saint Louis Park congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses in Minnesota. We hope that all find comfort in the Bible's promise of a future time when death, pain, and tears will be no more.—Revelation 21:3, 4'.

Prince's former drug dealer has revealed the full extent of the late-star's secret drug addiction - telling how the superstar was hooked on powerful opiates for over 25 years.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Mail Online, the performer's long-time dealer - who asked to be named only as Doctor D - revealed the singer would spend up to $40,000 a time on six-month supplies of Dilaudid pills and Fentanyl patches - both highly addictive opioid pain killers.

Prince, who was found dead on Thursday at his home in Minneapolis, Minnesota, was secretly cremated in an intimate ceremony at a nondescript funeral home in Minneapolis shortly after an autopsy was completed on Friday, Radar reports.

Prince's sister Tyka Nelson and another family member reportedly spent a few minutes saying goodbye at the First Memorial Waterston Chapel before the musician was cremated.

His death came just days after sources claimed he overdosed on the opiate Percocet.

Doctor D said the musician, who he described as 'majorly addicted', regularly bought drugs from him between 1984 and 2008.

The dealer, often to the stars, said Prince suffered crippling stage fright and could not get on stage and perform without the drugs - but had a phobia of doctors so could not obtain a prescription legally.

Tragically, Doctor D suggests it could have been a physician that unknowingly contributed to Prince's death - by prescribing strong pain killers to the singer for his hip condition without knowing the extent of his secret opiate addiction.

He said: 'I first met Prince in 1984 while he was filming the movie Purple Rain and he was already majorly addicted to opiates - I didn't hook him on drugs he was already a really heavy user.

'In the beginning he would buy speed as well as Dilaudid.

'I would sell him black beauties which were a black pill and cross tops which were also speed pills.

'He would use that as a counter balance to get back up again from taking opiates.

'That lasted for a couple of years then he would just buy Dilaudid, which is a heroin based opiate. It is highly addictive.

'As far as I knew he never took heroin - as that would leave you out of it for days whereas Dilaudid gives you an energy buzz as well as making you feel relaxed - so he preferred it.

'He needed the drugs because he was so nervous - he could be nervous in a room with just five people in it.

'He was scared to go out in public, he was scared to talk to people and didn't like to go on stage - he had the worst case of stage fright I'd ever seen.

'A lot of performers rely on drugs to make them feel confident on stage but he was by far the worse.

'Plus he was always paranoid about doctors so he wouldn't ask them for help - he had a phobia of them.

'I was surprised when I heard he had been picking up prescriptions before he died.'

Prince made several trips to a Walgreens pharmacy in the days before he died and was even photographed outside the store hours before he was pronounced dead.

It is not known whether he was picking up Percocet or any other prescription. And according to sources, Prince was treated by doctors for a Percocet overdose just six days before he died.

The 57-year-old's private plane had to make an emergency landing in Moline, Illinois, on April 15, so he could be rushed to hospital.

Doctors there had to administer a 'save shot' - an emergency injection usually administered in dire circumstances to drug overdose victims, TMZ reported.

An autopsy was conducted on Friday and Prince's body was released to his family. However, authorities said it could be weeks before the cause of death is released.

Meanwhile, an expert on Saturday, said his death is likely to have been the result of a drug overdose.

Cyril Wecht, a forensic pathologist who is not linked to the case, told NBC's TODAY: 'I would give overwhelming odds that, tragically, this is a drug death.'

He said: 'When you rule out foul play, when there is no history of any kind of significant disease, when you rule out any kind of intervention, anything of an environmental nature, you come down to an autopsy that is essentially negative and that probably means drugs.'

Wecht said the emergency landing of Prince's private jet lends further merit to the idea that his death was due to drugs.

'I cannot think of any medical or pathological condition that fits that kind of scenario, with incredible ups and downs, other than drugs,' he added.

Doctor D - who has built up a vast knowledge of opioid pain killers over the years - believes that if indeed Prince was being prescribed Percocet by doctors - the combination of Tylenol and opiates in the drug may have killed him.

'If Prince was just taking Dilaudid he would still be alive,' he said.

'It has less side effects than other opiate drugs such as Percocet but doctors don't like to prescribe it because it's one of the heaviest drugs.

'The problem with Percocet is that it is an opiate mixed with Tylenol - but he would have been taking much more than the recommended dose because he had developed a tolerance to opiates over the years.

'When you take that much Tylenol it can cause major problems - especially with your kidneys.

'But doctors would have freaked out if they knew the extent of Prince's drug problem and wouldn't know what to do.

'He self medicated for years and was fine - so it wouldn't have been the opiates that killed him but the Tylenol.

'So perversely the doctors who thought they were helping him may have hurt him by prescribing Percocet.

'Also if they did have to give him a save shot when he overdosed like everybody is saying - that removes all traces of drugs from your system so he would have started to go into withdrawal and would have had to take a lot of drugs to feel okay again - which also could have killed him.

'You can't just stop taking these drugs when you have taken them for so long.

'But without knowing his drug history doctors wouldn't have known that.

'It explains why he was spotted looking nervous and pacing around at the pharmacy in the week before his death.'

Doctor D, originally from Los Angeles but now based in the Coachella Valley area, California, first met Prince while working as part of the road crew at a concert.

He soon became his dealer of choice whenever he was in the Los Angeles area.

Prince would hire him to work backstage at gigs so he could have a constant supply of drugs without arousing any suspicion from those around him.

Doctor D said he watched him develop a major tolerance to the drugs over the years - regularly taking two to three times the recommended dose.

He also began to use patches of Fentanyl, a synthetic opioid approximately 80 to 100 times more potent than morphine and 40 to 50 times more potent than heroin.

The patches are worn like nicotine patches and provide a 72 hour constant release of the drug through the skin into the blood stream.

'He would wear the patch as well as taking the Dilaudid - so it's the equivalent of smoking while you have a nicotine patch on,' Doctor D explained.

'DRUG STORE HEROIN': ELVIS WAS ALSO LINKED TO DILAUDID

Prescription drug addict Elvis Presley was another superstar linked to Dilaudid after his death.

The opiate, often nicknamed 'drug store heroin' and officially known as hydromorphone, was Elvis' favorite drug.

Dilaudid, said to be two to eight times more potent than morphine, was used by The King to boost his energy levels before a performance.

While the narcotic was not found among the many drugs discovered in Elvis' system after he died, he was quoted in the book 'Elvis: The Final Years' as telling the wife of Red West, a member of his inner circle, 'I've tried them all, honey, and believe me, Dilaudid is the best.'

Elvis Presley died on 16 August, 1977. At the time of his death, he was suffering from glaucoma, high blood pressure, liver damage and an enlarged colon.

All of these ailments were aggravated, if not caused, by drug abuse.

'It's like having a constant supply of drugs - they sell for about $200-300 per patch.

'They come in boxes of five and I would sell Prince 20 boxes at a time.

'You can also smoke them but I only saw him do that once.

'You smoke it similar to a crack pipe or something like that - you burn the patch and suck the fumes through a straw.

'It gives you an instant, intense hit.

'He'd buy large supplies of both drugs - I think the most he ever spent was around $40,000 at one time.

'I'd say in general his habit was costing him about $2-300 a day but that didn't matter to him as he had plenty of money - he never ran out.'

Doctor D said apart from the one time he saw him smoke a Fentanyl patch, Prince's drug use was limited to popping pills, which enabled him to keep his drug use out of the public eye.

'He was always a pill man - that's why nobody ever saw him do drugs,' he said.

'He never smoked or shot up, or snorted cocaine.

'He was always functional too - I never saw him out of it or strung out because I always provided him with what he needed and he would buy in bulk so he was always prepared.

'At the time I was dealing other drugs too but he never asked for anything else.

'He wasn't really a party guy either, he was doing these drugs so he could feel at ease around people.

Emergency Dispatch Audio: Prince dead at 57

'When I knew him he didn't have any health problems that I knew about - he was taking the drugs because he needed them to cope not because he was in pain.

'In fact he always seemed very healthy - he didn't drink as far as I know and he would always eat salads.

'One time he was eating a salad and a skinless chicken breast with no dressing and I commented about how healthy he was.

'He turned to me and said, 'If I didn't watch my food I probably wouldn't last that long'. I think it was his way of counteracting all the drugs he was taking.'

Prince's drug use would increase around stressful times of his life - such as around big shows or when his fame would rise or plummet, according to Doctor D.

He bought extra large supplies before his famous performances at the Miami Superbowl in 2007 and before his 2008 Coachella appearance.

'I remember when he was filming Purple Rain he was buying a lot of drugs - I think it was nerve wracking for him to have to perform in front of cameras and people every day so he needed the drugs,' Doctor D revealed.

'It was an exciting time for him he was on top of the world - he was like God.

'But as that fame increased the less at ease he was with people and the more he needed drugs.

'Then at other times when his fame lessened - he'd turn to drugs too.

The legendary pop star Prince found dead at 57

'It's like he was afraid of the fame but then when it was gone he'd miss it and crave it.

'He would always buy a lot of drugs around his big shows - like when he played the Superbowl in Miami in 2007 he came to see me right before.

'He actually wanted to put me on payroll to work for him - so he could get what he wanted whenever he wanted - but I said no because I didn't want to go out to Miami.

'I sold him a six month supply and he used a lot of it just to get out on stage.

'It was the biggest show he ever did and it freaked him out - not only was he playing to thousands in the stadium but millions live on TV. He was nervous.'

Doctor D said that the religious star - who converted to the Jehovah's Witness faith in 2001 - would often talk about God during their meetings.

He would even try to convert the drug dealer and invited him to religious gatherings.

'We were never close friends - I was his drug dealer that's it,' Doctor D said.

'We got along well he was a nice guy - I wouldn't say anything bad about him.

'He never confided in me about his love life or anything but he often used to preach about God to me.

'Maybe it was a form of guilt - I think he felt guilty he was buying drugs from a drug dealer so he'd start conversing about God and the Spirit.

'He'd say, 'You know there's only one God and we're all here for a reason - to serve God.'

'And he'd say, 'We have to be good people it's important that we try to be good people,' he had a thing about being a good person.

'He asked me to go to meetings with him - I'm not sure exactly what kind of meetings they were - but it was some kind of religious thing.

'You learn when you're selling drugs to someone just to listen and go along with them.

'I'd pretend I'd go to the meeting and then next time I saw him I'd just be like 'oh no sorry I couldn't make it.

'That's all he really talked about.'

This is what happens when you rely on a cash cow as a grown person.  Cash cows dont live forever. When they die, the cash stops flowing. Now you have to fend for yourself. Stop relying on rich relations for your livelihood.  Take care of your own financial needs.

The deep things of YAH comes from the Holy Spirit of YAH. The spirit is the teacher, the counselor, the spirit guides us into all truth. Who knows the mind of YAH but YAH spirit. Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in YAH with all your heart and lean not on your understanding acknowledge YAH and he will direct thy steps.

Don't try to insult my intelligence by the way no one was talking to mind your damn business. Keep worship prince and oh yeah you will worship the prince of darkness to. Salvation isn't just for Israel so what is your point on sharing this scripture in Acts 8:27-39 you are dumb as hell

See the problem is you have no idea what your reading...Your full of scripture to fight people on but have applied nothing to self. You've meditated on nothing. You skimmed over it thinking you already know it says what you want it to say. For you looking into the Bible is a mirror and you see your own reflection. You hear your own voice and have your own limited understanding. We all needed someone to tell us how to grasp the deep things of God. (Acts 8:27-39)

You are an idiot Isaiah 43 is talking about Yisharal and YAHUAH how YAHUAH created thee o Jacob, it talked about redeemed, called by YAH name thou art mine. Yisharal is YAH witness not you fake ass jehovah witness and ass isn't a curse. But you are deceived read Eekiel 37 the valley of the dry bones read Deueteronmy 28 and the list goes on. So I advise you to go to someone else with your twisted thinking and teaching.

Read Romans 11:1-8
I say then , YAHUAH rejected His people? Let it not be! For I also am a Yisharalite, of the seed of Abrahim, of the tribe of Benyamin. YAHUAH has not rejected His people whom He knee beforehand. Or do you not know what the scripture says of Aliyahu, how he pleads with YAHUAH against Yisharal, saying,
"YAHUAH they have killed your prophets and overthrown your altars, and I alone am left, and they seek my life"?
But what does the answer of YAHUAH say to him? I have left for Myself 7,000 men who have not bowed the knee to Baal."(lord)
So therefore also , at this present time a remnant according to the choice of favor has come to be.
And if by favor , it is no longer of works otherwise favor is no longer favor. And if it of works , it is no longer favor, otherwise work is no longer work.
What then? Yisharal has not obtained what it seeks , but the chosen did obtain it , and the rest were hardened.
As it has been written, YAHUAH has given them a ruach of deep sleep , eyes not to see and ears not to hear, to this yom/day.

Also you should pray for discernment, understand, as well as, for the apostate spirit to depart from you. That is the only thing demonic. Demons don't promote peace. Nor are they allowed make witness to the Holy Name. The don't encourage people to seek God but to be self seeking.

It seems that your no different than the person who wrote this article or those who continue to throw into the media misinformation and disinformation about Prince because they hope to stir something up. They say Satan is that way...Speaking of his own initiative. According to his own selfish longing. As if there is some pleasure you get from the lies and propaganda spread. The fact that you may deter someone from the Truth but the real fact is that you didn't do any REAL research rather you listened to someone like yourself thus becoming poisoned by their hatred. In other words you carrying a belly for someone else....

Thinking about it...Don't stop because Witnesses get many an inquiry by way of uniformed talk meant to turn people away but actually draws them to Jehovah when they see that nothing they heard was true...We all serve our Purpose. It was the same way for Pharaoh..Whether we accept it or not what will be... Will be.
