It was no secret that Joe Jackson and Michael did not have the best relationship, with Joe said to have been physically abusive to both him and his siblings for years while they were growing up.

It was even reported that Joe Jackson wasn't in Michael's will when he died.

Dr Murray was convicted was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in the 2009 death of Michael Jackson, and served four years for it

At the time of his passing in 2009, Michael had been under the care of Dr. Murray. He served four years for the musician's death and still maintained his own innocence throughout the proceedings.

In 2010, Joe Jackson tried to file a wrongful death lawsuit against Murray but that case was later dropped.

'I would not shed a single tear for the passing of this cruel and evil man, Joe Jackson,' Murray added in his video. 'It is said only the good die young. I hope Joe Jackson finds redemption in hell.'

A source close to the family said that they are not happy with Murray words, and have already contacted their lawyers.

'They have already contacted their lawyers and are willing to do whatever they need to do in order to silence Conrad Murray,' the source told Radar Online

'Paris gets so worked up Opens a New Window. over everything and Joe's death is bringing up a lot of pain for her and she can't believe how everyone is so intent on destroying him right after he died.'

'Everyone knows that Michael had a lot of issues with his father. They all did. But if not for Joe they would not have the luxuries in life that they have today.'

Relatives were seen outside the service dressed in black attire.

The family announced a public ceremony would also be held in Los Angeles in honor of the late musical manager, but did not provide details on a specific place and time.

A family source said, last week the Jackson patriarch faded into unconsciousness last Tuesday and died the following day alongside his wife Katherine.

The source said Katherine decided to move Jackson into hospice care days prior, when his health drastically declined.

It seems Jackson had been ill for months but became worse over the two weeks before his death.

Jackson had been in a 69-year rocky relationship with his estranged wife Katherine, whom he had 10 children with - including Janet and Michael.

He fathered a love child, Joh'Vonnie Jackson, with mistress Cheryl Terrell in August 1974.

Katherine filed for divorce in March of 1973, more than one year before Joh'Vonnie was born.

Jackson was accused of having multiple extramarital affairs during his marriage to Katherine. He was also accused of sexual, physical and emotional abuse by his children.

The allegations surfaced in the 1980s and 1990s. His daughter, La Toya wrote in her memoir in 1991 that her father sexually abused her as a child.

'When your father gets out of bed with your mother and gets into bed with his daughter and you hear the mother saying, "No, Joe, not tonight. Let her rest. Leave her alone, she's tired", that makes you crazy,' she wrote.

While speaking with Oprah Winfrey in a 1993 interview, Michael Jackson opened up about the alleged abuse he and his siblings suffered during their childhood and in The Jackson 5.

Michael said the family was ordered to constantly rehearse and once recalled his father sitting in a chair with a belt in his hand as he and his brothers practiced.

'If you didn't do it the right way, he would tear you up, really get you,' Michael said.

His family still paid heartful tribute to the late patriarch on social media following news of his death.

Jackson's grandson, Randy, also shared a tribute to the patriarch and said: 'RIP to the king that made everything possible!!! I love you grandpa.'

Over the past week, members of the Jackson family were said to be in a squabble over which relative would fund the funeral services.

Jackson's 20-year-old model granddaughter, Paris Jackson, reportedly offered to pay, calling her grandfather a 'legend' who 'should be treated as such,' a family source said in a statement to RadarOnline.

'Janet has said she’ll pay for it because she believes Paris paying for it would be an embarrassment to the family.'

Paris said last month she was snubbed over an invite to the BillBoard Music Awards where Janet was receiving an Icon award.

The family feud is said to have stemmed from an ongoing battle over Michael’s estate.

Joe Jackson called for an end to the family feud and once said there are 'too many folks fight against this family, we don't need to fight with each other.'

  • Jackson himself had given verbal instructions making clear he did not want visitors or family members to see him or his medical records in his final weeks
  • He had attempted to forge a music career of his own and even tried at one point to become a professional boxer before putting together the Jackson 5 in the 60s

Joe Jackson passed away on Wednesday at the age of 89.

WE revealed last week that the King of Pop's father was on his deathbed and later hospitalized as he battled stage four pancreatic cancer.

A family source said that Jackson, who had his wife Katherine by his side when he passed away, faded into unconsciousness on Tuesday.

Katherine made the decision to move Jackson into hospice care over the weekend as his health began to rapidly decline.

The patriarch of the Jackson family had voiced his desire to hold on through Monday said the family source, which marked the ninth anniversary of his son's death.

Jackson and his wife had been living apart for the past few years following a tumultuous 69-year relationship during which Jackson fathered a love child, had multiple affairs and was accused of abusing the couple's children.

Jackson had been ailing for months, but took a turn for the worse in the past two weeks according to sources close to the family.

His famous family all clambered to be by the bedside of the sickly father-of-eleven, but Jackson's handlers allegedly barred senior family members from visiting him, including his wife Katherine and oldest child Rebbie.

For four days, his sons and daughters were locked in heated discussions, unsure what was going on and pleading to see their father.

DailyMail.com later learned that following an emergency Jackson family meeting and desperate pleas to Jackson's manager, Charles Coupet, family members were finally granted access to the octogenarian last Tuesday night.

It is understood that he suffered from a form of dementia and had suffered several strokes in recent years.

'I will always love you! You gave us strength, you made us one of the most famous families in the world,' wrote his daughter LaToya>

'I am extremely appreciative of that, I will never forget our moments together and how you told me how much you cared. #RIP Joe Jackson.'

Katherine, daughters Rebbie and Joh'Vonnie and granddaughter Yashi Brown were among those who visited with Jackson in his final days.

At the same time, the Jackson family struggled to gain medical information about the dying man.

A source close to Joe's daughter Janet confirmed that she too had been denied access to see her father in recent days.

And Joe's other daughter Joh'Vonnie Jackson - the product of an extra-marital affair - had also been barred from seeing her dad despite being very close to him and living nearby in Vegas claimed the source.

Jackson's son Jermaine confirmed the odd situation when approached by DailyMail.com.

'No one knew what was going on - we shouldn't have to beg, plead, and argue to see our own father, especially at a time like this,' he said.

'We have been hurting. We were not being told where he was and couldn't get the full picture. Even from the doctor. My mother was worried sick.'

Jermaine, 63, added at the time: 'He's very very frail, he doesn't have long. The family needs to be by his bedside - that's our only intention in his final days.

'It's what any family would want, but some people around him think they know better...and they don't.'

Joe Jackson speaks out about cancer battle

Jackson guided his children to unprecedented success as The Jackson 5 after his own attempt at stardom did not pan out with his band The Falcons.

Prior to that, Jackson had attempted to forge a career as a professional boxer after his 1949 wedding to Katherine.

He was born Fountain Hill, Arkansas just one year before The Great Depression to Samuel Jackson, a university professor who was the son of a slave.

He was the oldest of five children, and at the age of 12 moved to California with his father when his parents split.

His mother and other four siblings all moved to Chicago, with Jackson later joining them at the age of 18 when his father remarried.

That is when he began to pursue boxing, having dropped out of high school, and was briefly married to another woman before divorcing her and then pursuing a relationship with Katherine Scruse.

The two married soon after and he got a job at Inland Steel as a crane operator.

One year later, the couple had their first of 10 children, daughter Rebbie.

In was in the early 1960s that he began to create what would become the Jackson 5, which initially consisted of his three eldest sons: Jackie, Tito and Jermaine.

The boys were known as The Jackson Brothers and forced to spend most of their free time practicing as Jackson demanded perfection.

The group then became the Jackson 5 when Marlon and Michael joined a backup singers.

All that practice did pay off however, and the group found success on the road before drawing the attention of Gordon Keith, who released the group's first single in 1968 with Michael as the lead singer.

That was the beginning of the group's ascent, which all culminated with the boys being signed to Motown Records and the release of their first album, Diana Ross Presents The Jackson 5.

The support of that A-list singing star catapulted the group, whose hits included ABC, I'll Be There and I Want You Back.

By that time the family was living in California, and after six years with Motown the boys signed an even more lucrative deal with Epic while Jackson began to send his three daughters Rebbie, Janet and LaToya out on the road to perform.

Janet's ascent began in 1982, and for the next two decades she was a fixture on the pop charts alongside her brother Michael, who had gone solo by that point.

At the same time, Jackson's reputation began to tarnish as details of his abhorrent behavior towards his children and extramarital affairs began to emerge.

It was also revealed that Katherine had filed for divorce in 1973 because of her husband's infidelity but later withdrew those papers.

One year later he welcomed his eleventh child, Joh'Vonnie, with his mistress Cheryl Terrell.

Jackson and Terrell went on to have a relationship for 25 years, and in 1982 Katherine once again filed fir divorce before once again deciding to opt out of the proceedings at the last second.

In 1993, Jackson suffered perhaps the most devastating blow of his life and career when Michael appeared on Oprah Winfrey's eponymous talk show and went into great detail about the emotional and physical abuse he endured during his youth.

That sit-down remains the most watched interview in television history, with 90 million people tuning in to hear the King of Pop speak openly for the first time in 14 years.

It would also be one of his last interviews, as he retreated from the public eye soon after in the wake of allegations that he had sexually molested young boys.

Jackson, despite his son's comments to Winfrey, stood by Michael's side throughout the trials that followed, often accompanying Michael to court.

In 2002 he was also inducted into the Rock and Hall of Fame as the Best Entertainment Manager of All Time.

Janet also paid tribute to her father just a few days ago at the Radio Disney Awards, where she was honored.

'My father, my incredible father drove me to be the best I can,' said Janet, who recently welcomed her first child last year, son Eissa Al Mana.

Party here: Before he had his heart attack, Joe Jackson seemed determined to enjoy Brazilian life

  • Jackson family patriarch was in Sao Paulo when he suffered a stroke and three heart attacks
  • Hours after arriving he was dining with a group of 'voluptuous' young women
  • Recovered in hospital in city and was released today but ordered parties to go on without him as his family and friends visit him

Joe Jackson suffered a stroke and three heart attacks after a night of partying with younger women in Brazil - amid claims that he took three Viagra pills.

The 87-year-old flew into the country two weeks ago for a pleasure trip set to include a $200,000-birthday blowout in his honor but ended up being rushed to hospital on the eve of the celebration.

Now as he recovers in Sao Paulo after being released today from hospital, it has emerged the temptations of the Brazilian party city may have been physically too much for Michael Jackson's father.

Just hours after his arrival in the country, the Jackson patriarch was spotted dining with a group of ladies including a voluptuous – and much younger - woman at an upscale restaurant.

Two days later he hit the town once again with the attractive redhead and other women, and was said to have been out until the early hours.

He was 'feeling unwell' the following day - July 26 -, according to his representative, and was eventually taken to hospital for what turned to have been a stroke.

It was followed by multiple cardiac arrests – including one where his heart stopped for 10 seconds – that led doctors to fit him with a pacemaker.

But the story of how he got there appears to be much more salacious than anyone would imagine.

According to a local newspaper, the octogenarian 'overdid it' on his second big night out with his lady friends.

As they visited a number of bars and restaurants, he is said to have mixed the local cocktail of caipirinha - made with Brazilian sugarcane rum – with other drinks.

But the 'bigger problem' was that he also had taken 'three little blue pills' for erectile dysfunction.

Joe Jackson suffers stroke while in Sao Paulo, Brazil

'It was too much for him and he suffered a stroke,' continued O Diario de Sao Paulo, adding that his entourage was left 'shocked' by the incident.

An even more colorful version of Jackson's antics was reported by a well-known celebrity columnist.

He was visiting an area of Sao Paulo known for low-rent prostitution when he took the Viagra pills, according to Leo Dias, from the O Dia tabloid.

Jackson's PR assistant Lisa Crazy, however, denied the reports.

She said: 'He sleeps early and doesn't take medicine without prescription. Nothing of this story is true.'

'This did not happen,' said his rep Charles Coupet.

'It's normal that they talk about him wherever he goes,' he added.

He added: 'He was between life and death. He had three cardiac arrests. The first lasted 10 seconds, the others, four seconds each.'

Either way, Jackson ended up missing his lavish party, which went ahead on his request.

The women accompanying him are dancers who form part of his entourage, local sources said.

According to a report, they dance for him to soothe his notoriously explosive temperament – and nothing else.

Jackson continues his recovery after being released today from the Albert Einstein Hospital, where superstar daughter Janet is said to have come visit him. His son Jermaine was also present.

His two-week trip has been indefinitely extended as doctors monitor his progress.

Coupet has insisted he came to the country to celebrate his birthday with friends, although other reports say he was trying to negotiate deals for shows for The Jacksons, a band featuring his other sons.
