Todd Hughes, First Openly Gay Circuit Court Judge In History, Confirmed By Senate With No Opposition

The Senate made history on Tuesday by voting to confirm Todd Hughes to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Hughes, who was confirmed 98 to 0, is the nation's first openly gay circuit judge. He has been a deputy director in the civil division of the Justice Department since 2007.

3 teenage boys, TWO age 13 and ONE 14 'killed homeless man in broad daylight after punching him in the back of the head in a game of knockout'


The teens are accused of following Ralph Santiago, 46, (left) and punching him in the back of the head in broad daylight in Hoboken, New Jersey, on September 10. Tunisian Girls Are Coming Home Pregnant After Performing 'Sexual Jihad' In Syria

A number of Tunisian women have traveled to Syria to have sex with rebel fighters, a senior Tunisian politician said Thursday. The practice is known as "sexual jihad."

William Bledsoe, 70, of Ellensburg, Washington, (inset right) admits the murder accusations against his sons, 25-year-old Caleb and Joshua (left), but won't criticize them.
